The food at Chipotle is usually very good, so when they offered a two for one deal for Teacher Appreciation Day I took advantage. They asked for school faculty ID. I figured that my business card would work - wrong. They wanted an ID card which was not stated on the flyer. The manager refused to budge and was not too nice about it either. There was no teacher appreciation that night.
I was at the Grove City OH Chipotle. The line was very long. The front of the line noticed that the young man in the back was mixing the rice. We also notice the young man mixing the rice didn't have on a hat. This young man's hair was long and shaggy. I stated to the young man heating up the torilla's...why doesn't he have a hat on....he turned and asked the young man mixing the rice...and the young man mixing the rice said "I don't have to wear a hat, I'm management".....hello....if you are a manager you should be wearing a hat,especially if you are working with food. The people in the front line did not have that rice that that young man just mix and neither did I....so maybe corporate needs to instruct their managers that it's only right that they wear a hat when cooking the customers food...especially when someone ask why you don't have a hat on. The manager should of put one on instead of throwing his management title around.
I find that your position to pull your support of the Utah Boy scouts is appalling. You would push your Gay agenda down our children’s throat. My family goes to the Olathe Chipotle on 153rd at least 3x/month. Tonight the food was mostly onions & peppers. Super spicy. The service is almost always good but tonight they were rude, slow, & not paying attention.
I ate at the Kennesaw location last Saturday and found the restaurant was not clean. Most of the tables and chairs were dirty, the beverage area had soda spills everywhere and the serving counter where you select your choices looked like it was smeared with a dry cloth, just to remove the food, but not a clean wet cloth to clean the area. The food spills had dried, so no one had bothered to take a clean wet cloth to clean the food serving area in a while. If that's what they are doing where the customer can see, what are they doing in the back with food prep where we can't see. Also I saw workered coming in and I didn't see them washing there hands before they started to work. You need to get a manager in there who understands the importance of hygiene in the restaurant .... Fast!
I absolutely love Chipotle...until tonight. I was there about a month ago, was bad. They were out of chicken so I said I would take the steak. Paid the increase in price for smaller portion of dried charred shoe leather! But, thought I would try again today. Well...not sure if I'll go back for a while again!! I got about 2 TBSP of rice, beans and the rest was filled with pico and sour cream. When I asked for more rice an added tsp. was what I got. Usually a burrito is two meals for me, tonight it was barely one. Please improve, I do love Chipotle!
My family and I love Chipotle! Ever since we first discovered it, we have eaten there @ least 2-3 X month...I was impressed at the clean environment, organic ingredients, friendly staff..not to mention the BIGGEST best burritos I've had! :). However, over the past few years I have noticed a decline in all of the above..the restaurant I go to in Hilliard, Ohio, looks messy no matter what time I drop in;steak and even sometimes the chicken is grisley, the rice hard..sometimes I have to ask for extra pico/tomato or rice or anything besides meat and they look at me like m a pig! These days you practically have to ask for extra rice, extra tomato, etc.or you ge a burrito or bowlt 1/2 the size they used to be!! Almost worse is the inconsistency of the food quality.frequently, I have stale chips mixed with fresh ones..or worse, they're all stale.I love Chipotle guac!! It's the best..when it is Luke it should be..last several months, it has been bland, pasty consistency or brown! I miss the way Chipotle used to be! Maybe its just this store..please fix my Chipotle!
I went to the Chipotle in Southfield Mich. on Evergreen. The line was out the door during lunch. They ran out of white rice, during the most busiest lunch hr. One of the cooks was playing with his hair and face, so unsanitary. The General Manager was there, she looked and acted like her crew. She was not professional all.
So happy to have Chipotle in the Princeton area and so are my neighbors as the line extends out the door every time I have been. But...what is with the slooooow counter service??? That's why the line is so long. When you finally make it to the counter they all have a deer in the headlights look and then they add each ingredient as if they are writing their name in cursive with the sour cream and salsa. Where is the manager? What's the problem, Chipotle, Princeton?? :(
I went to the chipotle located 18880 E Valley View Pkwy Independence, Mo. and as I was standing in line I looked In the back and saw a young lady I assume cleaning rice with her bare hands when I asked about It I was told that this is part of their procedure to use their hands without gloves. What is the purpose of using gloves when fixing your food but not to use gloves to rinse the food. I would love for someone to correct this procedure and this was about 4:07 PM. When I spoke with the manager she acted as If it wasn't a big deal, you have poeple fixing food for others and you don't know what could possibly be on their hands. The lady that was tunning the register name Marylin acted as If It wasn't a big deal either, and she hunched her shoulders when I question her about it. I will be calling corporate number and reporting this as well. Then I will call the action news to investigate this. Finally when I walked out a young lady came out and asked me what was the problem and I explained and she had a bandage on her finger and then told me she doesn't clean the rice. I told her I would report this she said do what you feel. How rude!!!
Chipotle is awesome in my area. The food is always fresh and delicious. As for the Romney comment, he refuses to serve the very important 47%. I feel no pitty for him. Chipotle's you rock in my book.
When this Chipotle first opened, my family and I ate at the Orchard Lake Road in West Bloomfield Michigan location weekly.
Over the past year, this place has become an absolute mess. There has never been a time this year when we have attempted to order food that they were no out of something. We stopped eating at Chipotle earlier this year. Over the summer, my son begged me to take him to Chipotle. I finally gave in and said I would take him under one condition. If we were told that they were out of anything we wanted to order, we would leave.
As we approached the door to enter the restaurant, there was a sign on the door that said they were out of chicken for the day.
I have not been to Chipotle since. Again tonight, November 1, 2012 at 8:30 p.m. my son begged me to pick up Chipotle for him. I agreed.
Tonight, there was no rice at all. I was advised they would not be making anymore either.
When I advised they are always out of stuff, I was told, "Well, we get busy".
Don't send me a coupon for a free meal. I'm not interested.
This place used to be a wonderful place to eat. You should know that this location is a mess.
chipotle refused to serve mitt romney. i will never take my family or friends to chipotle again. never.
