also....the new managers first hire was an old friend of his that spend 18 months in STATE Prison for assault, no sales experience, and missing his front teeth. But the guy who runs the store during the holidays get the short end of the stick

Product reliabilty and service

I purchased a sears snowblower (craftsman) . From day one this product has been a piece of junk. Service people are impossible to deal wih(long waits for service calls, and longer waits for parts) For ex. on Feb 3rd I called for a service call. I got my normal three from date of call to date of appointment. The probably will not have the part on the truck causing a further delay . Sinc I called we have had 20+ inches of snow an are expecting at least 6 more tonite. In conclusion for me it's Good bye Sears. I'll never purchase another Sears ptoduct.

delivery damage

Back in August I had TWO refrigerators delivered - during delivery my screen door was damaged. I reported this customer service - they told me to get the door repaired and they would pay for it. I have now contacted the local store manager via mail twice - the first time she referred my complaint to the delivery company. They called me and then did nothing about it. I have not heard back since the second writing in early January. I just want them to pay the repair bill which was not all that much!!

Dryer Vent Cleaning

A few weeks ago, I requested service for dryer vent cleaning and as a result, the technician drilled holes in both my heating and air conditioning units and covered the holes with tape. I requested another technician come and plug the holes, he had no 'clue' on what to do. I will never use these services again. The technician was so busy trying to push sales for cleaning the furnace and air conditioning units, that he couldn't do what he was there to do. So unfair how Sears has yet to get this resolved.

Customer service sucks.

I stopped shopping at sears for a long time because floor staff and cashiers seem to always be busy with something other than valuing their patrons. I purchased a sweater after Christmas and the cashier was so rude. She was more concerned with closing out her register than my purchase. No greeting, No thank you. Nothing.

poor customer service

I have missing items from my order. I spent about $1700.00 dollars ordering tools for my son to start school. Only to have three items missing and get no help or response from sears.com. I had to repurchase the missing items totaling about $300.00 because he had to have them before class and I still can't get a response about a refund. I talked to someone at the Sears store here and they talked to Sears.com and said I would have a credit in my account . I called sears.com today only to hear my order is complete. I am so disappointed with the lack of concern and lack of customer service. I will share my experience with everyone I come into contact with.

Absolutely most horrible customer repair service I have ever experienced. My top of the line Kenmore Elite dishwasher which is still under warranty. It's been out 2 weeks now and still no idea when it will be fixed. Several calls to no satisfaction or answers. I will never buy another appliance from Sears.

Repairmen out sick for 2 months now

I just received a call advising me that the Sears repairmen was sick and I've been rescheduled for service on 1 Nov. This marks the 2nd time my appointment has been rescheduled. The mower has now been out of commission since September! Highly suggest you hire someone who is more dependable or at least make arrangements for a backup waiting 2 months is unacceptable. Especially since I was foolish enough to purchase the full protection package at over $600!!!

you don't value you customers

my order was shipped to the wrong address and now I have to go out of my way to pick my items up. Which I am now going to just return because they do not have a clue on what they are doing. I have been loyal to sears and kmart. They will no longer receive a cent of my money. They offered me 5% for there mistake. what a joke. I will have to spend over 25 dollars in gas to go pick my order up.

Lousy Service

I have never experienced such lousy service in my life...I used to buy all my appliances from Sears or a Sears Outlet...it took all of two hours to complete a sale of a freezer and a lawn tractor - paid cash...was told delivery would be on 10/17/2013 and of course it is now 3:12pm - 10/17/2013 and I am being told the truck is on it's way by one person and told by another person the delivery can't be made until the next day...trying to call the customer service and guess what - NOBODY speaks English and when I asked for another representative I was conveniently disconnected...well I am on my way to cancel the $3000.00 order and will NEVER buy another Sears product!!!!

I have called your customer service # at least twice to set up an appointment for service. I have found it almost impossible to understand the polite individual that answers the phone for you.l I cannot believe that you feel that it is in your best interest to conduct your business in this manner. Stop farming your telephone business off shore!

Automotive repair failure

A couple weeks ago I had some work completed on my Chevy Cavalier. I dropped off my car for a serpentine belt replacement. But I also had a water pump and radiator cap replaced as well as a coolant exchange because car was running hot and the technician recoommended these services. First off, this did not correct the problem and I returned the car on two occasion within a two day period. They had the car all day and never called me to let me know my car was ready for pick-up. Once I arrived after work 5 pm they still did not have an answer or fix. There were no Managers on site at the time, as I was told they leave at 5 pm. Needless to say, the technician referred me to another repair place for which Sears was not going to take responsibility for fixing my car. This has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had.
