What the heck?

Tried to make an online payment agreement. Error message: "We are sorry. We are unable to complete the transaction you requested." Tried to call, once again, they were "Sorry". Nobody at all anywhere to pick up the phone. Urg, have to go to an office location. Great...

IRS NOT TRUSTWORTHY AT ALL

Had two IRS agents hang up on me, third guy transfered me and I waited for an hour for someone to answer. nothing. Look what the IRS did and denied to those non-profit orginizations and other American Citizens. They cant be trusted any more. they wont even help me with my questions. I dont want them to touch my taxs or personal information because they have and will again take everything from you. Philip Hathaway waterloo, Iowa 50701

SENT PAYMENT / RECEIVED REFUND

OMGosh! We owed money - sent it then received a refund check. Cannot reach the agency to ensure we don't get fined (because this was tried before) but continue to get hung-up on. CAN'T STAND IT. Need a number which actually works or reply to my email. This is ridiculous, absolute madness!!

Tax returned

For six months I want to get my 2011 tax refund. But the two phone numbers the list one they do not answer and the does not give you the option to talk to a rep. Since the phone options only asks information for current year. I have tried to get in contact with then for six months because every year they hold my tax return. Because they are not smart enough to tell the is my military disability check that is deposite in my bank account which would clear the reason for which they hold it. I do not make any income in Kansas I live and work in Texas. I send faxes with copies of my license, Texas employer information, wrote a letter. I could use that $481. One year while vacation I detured to the Topeka Office in 6th street so I could get my refund. Man am I upset, I'll quit.

Unacceptable.

Worked for me!

I must be out of touch with today's IRS ... because I'd swear that, in past years, they mailed the 1040 Instruction booklet to me. Anyway, whether I'm losing it in my old age or not, I called the 800 number about 6 p.m. ... got hold of someone after a minimal hold (maybe a minute or two at most) ... and got them to mail out what I need. Very pleasant person to deal with (even a sense of humor). I have nothing be compliments for today's IRS phone service. [We'll see if the Postal Service's service complements the IRS's service.]

unhappy taxpayer

8-21 days is bull. i finally got a hold of a actual agent and their response on to why i haven't got my return is that i was tagged as having been a person who was a victim of identy theft. so it was taking longer. when i asked why, they said they had to verify we were who we were and that our address was correct. i said don't you have to do that anyway?why would that be different?she just kept repeating herself.absolutely no help after waiting on the phone for 32 minutes.

IRS Cust Service

In Phoenix, the recorded announcement says that the IRS office does not accept phone calls. This is Customer Service? What incredible arrogance. This is Govt "for the People"?

INSANE PHONE SYSTEM

Getting through to your office for any kind of service has been absolutely ludicrous. All I want to do is file my return at your office... I'm furious!

Customer Service

Of all the taxes our government collects, you would think they could afford to provide you with a live person to talk to. Not the case. Maybe with the huge influx of IRS agents that will come with the "Affordable Care Act", we may get to talk to a live body, instead of being directed through multiple automated systems that take you on a digital walk across the bridge to nowhere.

Experiences with trying to get help from IRS

Ever try to get a live person? In Salem Oregon you can't even leave documents at the counter. You can't talk to anyone at the counter. What customer service?
