IKEA customer service is nonexistent

read all the other reviews. They all say the same thing. Ikea has no concept as to what the terms customer service means. Putting the term quality into that phrase only makes it that much worse.

There is no such thing as customer service with this company. Avoid it at all costs. If you are foolish enough like me to go to a store and place an order, or place one on line, and you have a problem with that order, good luck.

You should really avoid this company at all costs. Simply read all the other reviews. They all say the same thing.

Hire more help!

Amazing how a company would subject their customer to outlandish wait times to speak to someone on the phone! Despite my horrible experience having to wait...and this is the absolute truth...25 minutes per customer service rep and I eventually went through 4, I did have the pleasure of working with Latanaya who made it all worth while. Apparently, I was finally transferred to Latanaya and categorized as a "warm transfer" which meant that she would hang on theline with me as she contacted the store I originally made my purchase and the delivery company. I don't even want to get into the details with my delivery issue, but that I somehow made it through and it was because of the professionalism and attentiveness of Latanaya! She was extremely courteous, professional and seemed really eager to help me which she did. Thanks Latanaya! IKEA is very fortunate to have you!

Las Vegas needs IKEA

I have the perfect space for a store here in Las Vegas, Boca Park near Charleston/Fort Apache where the old Great indoors store used to be, it is situated in the right demographics and would do very well there! Would love to see an IKEA in Las Vegas!!!

Horrible experience

We placed a 700.00 order to be delivered and assembled. Overnight we discovered we needed to change our order, drove -1 hour to the Ikea store, got the order written up, went to get refund on our cash purchase and found that we could NOT GET A REFUND ON THE MERCHANDISE THEY WERE TO DELIVER 5 days from now. Had to purchase all on new order and only be eligible for refund after their delivery people return items to their store in 5 days. They say we will get a check at an amount reduced by pick charges and delivery (that we are not gettin). THEIR POSTED REFUND POLICY IS BOGUS and does not reflect their Nazi attitude

sooo disappointed

Very first time I visited an Ikea store this past Saturday. I was over whelmed by the maze I had to go through just to get to the bed sheets. I finally find the ones I wanted, white with simple embroidery on the edges of the pillow cases and flat sheet. Brought the set, get home open it and it is NOT like the picture on the package or on your wall as advertised. SUCH a let down! The low quality thread count nothing special about them at all. I don't feel I have to take them back FOR YOUR FALSE ADVERTISEMENT.It's not even close to my house. I could of went to Family Dollar for this crap!

Ikea stoughton MA customer service horrible

Bought book shelf from this place. Broken parts, called using the phone number they gave, they almost never pick up the phone. Finally, someone picked up, bad altitude, really horrible service asking to wait till they call... the big crap is taking over the whole floor.... will never shop from Ikea again.

phone service

I called the 888 number as directed. I twice went around the "punch #1, etc" and came back to the original recording. I dialed the 952 (MPLS) number and was directed to the 888 number. Absolutely no help!

Bad Customer Service

We tried to purchace a King Size Mattress in the Clearence section Orlando Ikea, due to weather we were not able to take the Mattress out of the store. We offered to pay for it if it could be held for us untill the weather cleared.It is close to 100 mies round trip for us. I called customer service to try and find out if it was still there and were told not able to contact the Clearance area. In other words too bad. Gas prices are are so high that we would hate to spend gas on a trip of futility.
