I called 6 times to reach customer service and it's the worst! You get an automated system. No emails as indicated on my order and no one to speak to on the phone. I tried so many times and it went from one recording to the next. I am unable to ask questions on my holiday order .. soooo frustrating. Will NEVER shop or order from here again.

I will never shop in this store again. The customer service is rude. They wouldn't let me return an item bought online with the shipping receipt even though it had the price and date on it, with my credit card. Such aggravation for nothing. Never again!
It has taken me SEVERAL transfers to try and make a purchase on the phone and they were not able to help me.
Customer service horrible people we all should stop shopping at these places.
Customer service with Lord and Taylor is horrible - from the clerk you deal with in the store to computer service you get when trying to resolve store problems. It took me several phone calls and tens of minutes to even get through where I needed to go. Now all I get is an email from a computer system asking me to re-enter three security questions I set up a month ago to reopen communications with a person who will not let you talk to her over the phone. This is the standard Lord and Taylor set for their customers, so I will no longer be their customer. No major retail chain today has such terrible customer service, I guess except Lord and Taylor. Forget that! They just lost my business for life. No customer should have to deal with such BS in 2014.
Waited on hold SIX times today for assistance in placing an overnight order worth several hundred dollars. After waiting on hold for more than five minutes each time, realized that their claim of "excellent customer service" was BS. Apparently they don't need this customer's first and last attempt at giving them business.
Hours on website: Mon. - Sat. 8 a.m to 12 a.m. Sunday-closed.
Your agent stated hours are: Mon. - Sat. 9a.m - 10 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Correct your website info--very confusing and frustrating.
Compliments to Josephine Guglielmo from the Scarsdale, NY store. The register in the dress department was very active and a long line was forming. I asked if any other register could be opened and was told the available staff was on lunch. Josephine, who was on the floor putting away merchandise and helping a customer to find a dress- completed her service with her customer and then came over to the line and told us she was opening another register. Brava Josephine!
I tried ordering from both the website and over the phone and both were canceled for no apparent reason. The tech support was friendly but after 3 calls I gave up and will not be shopping at this store again. I recommend others do not.

I get paid every 2 wks, and I pay all my bills via my online banking. My Lord and Taylor bill was due on 2/14 and I paid it on 3/15 due to my pay schedule. Lord and Taylor charged me a 25.00 late fee. This is not only the first time I was ever late, I always pay over what the minimum is. What can I do to get this late fee removed?
I would like to tell you about the outstanding service I received from Jill, who works in the handbag department of the Garden City, New York store. I had to return a handbag I purchased due to slight damage on the front of the bag. The only other handbag of its kind was on display over the escalator. Since the maintenance personnel had already left, Jill took my number and called me the next day, after procuring this item. I quickly returned to the store and picked it up. I appreciate the fact that Jill went out of her way to help me. She was a pleasure to deal with and was very friendly, yet polite and professional. Jill is truly an asset to your store.

I love shopping at this store in Rockingham mall Salem NH. Every time I come in with my mother to shop in the petites department, we get the best customer service from your associate Luz. Luz is wonderful, greets us with a smile and is always glad to help us with my mother's needs who uses a wheelchair. My mother gives her a hug every time she see's her. I just wanted to write this comment and say to the manager that they made a good choice hiring her.
