wow

this store is crazy. their are long lines 2 cash registers and only one cashier. it is out of order and they really need to hire more people to clear the isles and make room for customers to shop. i would not recommend the one in mcdowell to anyone.

Employment

I don't understand why most of the Dollar General Stores in the area I live in have signs up and they tell you, "YES WE ARE HIRING!" so please fill out an aplication on line and they are listed as "hiring" on the net but when you fill out an Aplication on line and then check back with the store manager, they tell you they don't have time to look at your application! WHATS UP WITH THAT? No wonder they don't get any better. They keep the same lazy people no matter if they show up half the time or what! THANKS!

Rude Customers

Hopefully those rude customers won't come back in a store that has stock that needs to be put up with the employees that are already busting their humps & dealing with the true people that understand that the public can be ugly. Keep up the great work!! Ya'll are doing fine (ya'll need a raise! I've never been in a dirty store yet! As for the buggy full, the raunchy customers that steal what they want then to leave what they don't!! Thanks DG!!

Neat and Friendly

I am pleased with Dollar General located in an older building in Floresville Texas. It is organized. Employees always stocking. Greet all their customers with a smile. I'm impressed. Kudos to your employees.

your stor stinks

Dollar General in Poth Texas has a horrible smell. One side of the store is slightly organizes and the other side is smelly and disarranged. Corporate need to go and overhaul that store. We are not living in a third world country. No excuse for any store to look and smell this way. If there is any PRIDE here, FIX it.

Very dissappointing

The two stores in my area, Aliceville and Carrollton, AL., are both very dirty, and constantly have carts full in the middle of the isles. Usually I have to wait on an employee or go get one to check out. I won't be back.

Osceola, MO store

The Dollar General store in Osceola, MO is absolutely the worst store I have ever been in. They might have a new location and new building but the customer service continues to be lacking or non-existant. The shelves are consistently empty of necessities or even seasonal items. Today, July 3rd, when questioned if they had waterjugs, the employee told me that those were a seasonal item and they only had them in the summer. ????????? If you cannot afford to hire management that cares anything at all about the company or managing your stores, then I suggest that you permanently close the Osceola store. And yes, I am a resident of the city of Osceola, but will gladly, and do, take my business elsewhere.

WRIGHTSTOWN NJ EMPLOYEES RIP OFF DOLAR GENERAL

How smart is it that someone on your payrole has decided that at the wrightstown nj sore at 437 they should dim the lights over the cashregister and cut off the exterior store sign to discourge patrons from comming in to shop and in doing so is totally diregarding the fact that the competition of the on base convenience can and surely does effect your bottom profit line. The frequency of this lazy act alone had to show a downward shop trend of some level takeing into account how long it has gone undiscovered. I spoke with an employee about it on 9 June 13 at 9:20 pm and she proudly informed me that this decietful act works good to keep customers away.
