Customer Service Horrible

Their automated system takes 10min to navigate just to reach a human. Then they hang up on you if they cant answer your questions or get you the information you need.

Dicks is NOT stopping you from bearing arms! reallly??? come on people, every store has the right to stock what they want, as of 2 years ago Dicks Sporting Goods didn't even stock those types of guns, so now that headquarters has compassion for a tradegy that happened you are all screaming that your 2nd amendment rights are being held from you? i am a gun owner and a hunter and completely support what Dicks Sporting Goods did, they will continue to have my business for that pure fact. if i want to buy an assault type weapon i will do elsewhere even though now they are in some cases 2 to 3 times more expensive.

Poor Customer Service

I visited the St. Louis, MO store in West County Mall today to purchase track cleats for my son. The customer service was terrible (slow to arrive and rushed to keep walk away) and the Men's shoe area was a mess with 10 to 12 shoe boxes laying around in the seat / try on areas. I will not return this store and possibly no other Dick's location as there are many sporting chains in the area.

nothing new

They just open a lot of location in oklahoma trying to compete with academy. I think the stores look nicer but after their decision to not back up the second amendment, they have seriously hurt their reputation. You just don't do that bs in a red state like oklahoma people love their guns here. Everytime I pass by is empty, expect them to go out of bussines here.

Assault rifles

People are saying you dont need a large clip for hunting and these people are about as stupid as they come. Its about protection from tyranny which dicks doesnt support. Molly is an idiot. Its our right to keep and bare arms not keep and bare certian arms. This is an anti American company. I also purchased a 3D deer target for my son before christmas. I got home with it and it was missing the legs. Dicks refused to make it right. With that being said this country is anti American so spend your money else where. You may as well close your hunting dept. and stick to selling golf clubs and tennis balls

assault rifles

Thank-you for your decision to pull these guns off your shelves. You may lose some customers, but you just gained one from me! Congratulations for not putting profits before doing the RIGHT thing. A REAL hunter shouldn't need clips full of amo to hunt legitimately.

semi-automatic rifle policy

I feel so terribly sorry for what has happened in Newtown, Connecticut. I personally would do anything in my power to stop this and all other shootings from happening. I would not nor will I ever surrender my constitutional right to keep and bear arms. So with a heavy heart I must inform you that do to your semi-automatic rifle policy and the fact that you have chosen to lean to the gun control side of this issue, I need to inform you that I, nor any member of my family will be able to support your stores or ever buy so much as a pair of socks from you in the future. We as gun owners need to stand together and protect our right to keep and bear arms. I am very surprised and disturbed at your change in policy. Thank you, Mike Brownfield

I am very disappointed in the decision that Dick's made to suspend sales of "modern firearms". The guns were not the issue and Dick's decision is a meaningless gesture. I for one have been a customer for years but at this time I will not be shopping at any of your stores, Bass Pro Shops, Gander Mountain, Cabela's and online retailers will get my money.
