Getting someone to answer the phone.

The Post Office on Edgewood Av in Indpls In. when you call all you get is a busy signal and then it hangs up.

The USPS in Kirbyville Texas has started re-metering mail that has already been metered at another post office and sending collection envelopes and notes with you owe us more postage and tell the person sending it that the post office is using an outdated meter. I think this is a bunch of crap and needs to be handled from the post office side and not the consumer side.

tracking a page were the information hasn't been updated for 24hrs, and it was overnight delivery. Local office has no answer other than what's online. Where is the quality control when a package tracking hasn't been updated. The VM systems repeats the same thing and won't transfere to customer service. You finally get transferred into system only to be put on hold for 2 hours than be disconnected.

Can't reach any one

I tried to get some information on getting international stamps. I went to my local post office; they could not help me. I went to the central branch in Woburn; they can't help me. I called the 800 number and they just never answer. No wonder they are having financial problems.

mail forwarding

post office losses their copy for forwarding mail more than once. we are in the 231st century. why not a wire service not a paper one that takes 7- 10 business days before a party can receive their mail? Now I have to go back to the post office and fill out another card. meaning another 7-10 days before I receive my mail. Poor service, not happy.

worse service

The United States post office has the worse phone service of any service I have ever encountered! I hate it! Answer the phone and speak, stop sending a STUPID MACHINE to do a man's job!

No Delivery

Live in a Senior Citizen Housing, mail person drove in and decided not to come in and leave mail. Don't know what happened to our mail, as far as we know that person could have thrown it out. Called local post office in West Caldwell and told nothing they could do until next day. Disgusting behavior on the part of that postal worker.

claims process

I mailed a package to my daughter in Nov of 2013. She never received the package and I filed a claimed first one was denied and 2nd one has been pending going on 6 months. I talked to my attorney and he said file through small claims. Getting through to the post office is a joke! Obama needs to fix all these government agencies. NOTHING is done unless it makes the news

I looked up the Pompano Beach US Post Office on Atlantic Blvd. I wanted to know when the mail went out to other locations. There was no answer. Just when they collect. Is that the same thing as mail goes out of the Pompano Beach Post Office to another areas?

International Claim

I filed an International Claim a month ago and heard back nothing. I call the office and want to find out how the investigation going. After 30 mins of waiting, someone finally picked up the phone. I told her the reason I called, she said "let me transfer you to the department..." And I had to wait again... After 25mins, the call got hanged for no reason!! I have to call and wait all over again... It is wasting my time...Worse service I've seen..

USPS is a joke. My mailman came today in street clothes. She was listening to ipod, parked in wrong spot. Called local office in Houston. They were short, and unapologetic. They said all that mattered was that she came in a truck, and they didn't have a uniform for her. And people want to Federalize healthcare and other things??? Jeez. How the mighty have fallen.

Mail Forwarding

I filed a forwarding request from Chicago to Sanibel, FL in early January. It seemed to work for about 3 weeks and then the forwarding stopped. Nothing was arriving in FL while my mailbox in Chicago was filing up. When asking for help at the Sanibel PO, I was given 2 Chicago phone numbers. One number just rings. The other is answered by voice mail but the mailbox is full! How do I get my mail and avoid past due bills?

no stars low eenough!

local dely...3pm-7+pm yesterdays mail..tomorrow..local post office phone...doesn't answer..goes to fax? I have a del'y for 1/8/2014 tracked as "handed to resident" del'y rec't signed by "ponce" "delivered at 11:15 am" I have security cameras completely covering my property. I played back from 11:00am to 1:00 pm w/ NO ACTIVITY!! Exasperating!

Filing international claim

I've been on hold for 2 hours now waiting for a human to talk to. This is ridiculous! Last time it "only" took about 40-50 minutes to take care of my problem but this time it looks like I have to spend the whole day and I'm not even sure if they ever will answer the phone even if I won't hang up. End of story: take a day off...maybe 2...or 3, prepare some food next to you, be close to the bathroom, don't plan anything for those days and maybe you will be able to take care of your business if they'll click over to you.

international pkg

should have taken 6-8 days; sent it from Mass. on 10/26 to Spain, now 11/11 & not there yet; last tracking shows it in NY 10/29; international tracking phone # 1-800-222-1811 says 'your pkg is not available through this number'; says to call the sender; no one answers at either of my two local PO; ??????
