They charged me $1.87 for $1.12 postage without informing me that they were ripping me off. I passed the post office on the way home and would have dropped it off there and not be ripped off. I only noticed because I asked for the envelope back for a moment to remove an item and saw the $1.12 postage.

I came in with a bigger box that had another box inside of it which contained shoes. Only one end of the larger box was missing clear tape from where I opened it. The lady told me that since it was a prepaid return they appreciated if all ends had been taped prior to me coming in. Obviously I didn't know that so I told her if I had tape at home I would've done that. Then she proceeded to tell me they sold the tape there but that she would do it this time. Thank you so much for really saving me buying a whole roll of clear tape I'd hate for UPS to loose money by her helping me.

DO NOT EVER USE THIS STORE

On Monday, December 17th at approximately 11:30 AM. I went into the UPS Store in Lake Mary Florida to mail a package. I personally wrapped the items with 40 square feet of bubble wrap and packed them in a way that they would not shift during transit. I asked that the box be filled with styrofoam peanuts and shipped. Kolton inspected the contents and said he would add the peanuts to fill the box. He stated that UPS required the box to be placed into another box with at least 3 inches of space on all 6 sides Which he said would be filled with styrofoam peanuts. He assured me that with all of the peanuts and another box that the items would be fine. I paid and left prior to the box being closed up, assuming that my instructions would be followed.

The check out time on my receipt is 12:03 pm. At 5:50 pm. I received a call from a woman at the store telling me that she had removed all of the contents and wanted to add more bubble wrap and that it would cost me an additional $35.00 - $40.00. Triple the original rate. I reviewed with her what Kolton and I had agreed upon, filling the interior box with peanuts and placing that box inside of another box with 3 inches of peanuts surrounding it. Her response was, yes that is what they would do. I did not purchase the extra bubble wrap because it had already been agreed upon that it was good to go.

My wife received the box on December 20th. She inspected the outside box and the top was slightly crushed. When she opened the box she found paper and NOT the agreed upon and paid for styrofoam peanuts. There was paper on the top and sides of the interior box and less than one inch of paper on the bottom. When she opened the interior box there was paper again and not styrofoam peanuts.

Out of the thirteen items contained in the box 6 were broken. These items are irreplaceable and were very sentimental as they were my mother’s and she passed away the afternoon of the 17th.

The UPS Store DID NOT pack this in the agreed upon manner, using paper instead of styrofoam. They unpacked the items that I had securely packaged repacked them in a way that led to the breakage. They had this package from noon until 5:30 pm and made no effort to contact me until just before shipping, wanting to charge me triple the price and pressured me for a decision.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service of this store and lack of care taken with these items.

RUDE RUDE RUDE

Went in to get a document notarized and was 10 minutes late. He yelled at me saying i had to wait 45 minutes because he had things to do. As did i. Then before i stepped to the counter was finishing a business call and scolded me for being on my phone. The employees in the store were completely embarrassed. Couldn't even look at me while he had his nasty attitude with me. So I left. Will never return to this store again. He has also tried to as weight to my packages before. Avoid at all costs.

The worst customer service I have ever had across all retail stores period. The staff is rude and make you feel like your an idiot just for being there. I had a prepaid return from Amazon with all proper paper work and box. They make you feel that if you didn't spend any money they are wasting time on you. Good luck if you need any packaging items, they charge for everything, they would charge you for the air your breath if they could. Stay away from this place

Had to ship a package to my friend with UPS and when she saw me holding stack of mails to send out; she asked if I would like her just to put them on her USPS outgoing mail. While she was printing my receipt she gave me the store brochure; now, I know that they also offer Notary servieces. Do you know how hard to find notary services these days????

This UPS Store has the very best service. They are friendly, helpful, fast, and knowledgeable. They offer so many services, such as color copies, faxing, notary public, stamps and priority mail, color printing, and all shipping services. They ship FedEx, UPS, DHL, and U.S. mail. And they ship worldwide. They have been around for over 28 years and their great service is one of the reasons.

This UPS Store has the best Color Copies in Waterford and the best service. The Color Copies are as low as 19 cents everyday and they are excellent. And the service is first class all the way. They also have 3 cent black & white copies and laminating and binding services. I Highly recommend.

Poor customer service- take business elsewhere!

I live right down the street from this location and drive to the otherwise of town (store on Union Deposit) for my UPS shipping needs. Customer service is extremely poor and the owner (to put it mildly) is NOT a nice woman! I called corporate to file a complaint but each UPS store is operated independently, so their policies are self made. Save yourself a giant headache and go to another location!!!

PMB 108 is charging $20 to send $2,997,500.00. The BBB can do nothing to stop them. Some people are paying them before looking into this to check if it is a scam. Pack & Ship Guarantee is a joke!

Beware of the UPS Store 'Pack & Ship' guarantee.Worst customer service experience ever. UPS store didn't pack with properly, crushed shipment in transit, so didn't even attempt to deliver it. I have been told it may take a month to be reimbursed and they still have the item I was shipping via their store! Should I stand in front of their building with pictures of the crushed, one of a kind item I sold on eBay and tell folks to ask me about the guarantee? Up for suggestions on how to handle. Really disgusted. Don't assume you are dealing with UPS when you go through one of their 'stores.' All smoke and mirrors at least this location. Tell you when they take your money they will take good care of you, then talk to you as if you are to blame when you try to get status on your refund.

complaint

I have used this UPS store several times, but the last couple of times the items shipped were lost or damaged. The manager Jenny seems to have ALL the stall tactics down good, when it comes to filing a claim or following thru on one. Don't use them all they care about is your money. They damaged a package on the delivery truck (posted it online) then returned it to sender and never even tried to deliver it. She never returns calls, delays,stalls and will avoid your phone calls. Your better off going elsewhere.

mail nightmare1

We go south for the winter.been a customer With a mail box for about three years.Been very happy with the service.This year Nov.14 2012 Called to have mail sent instead of sending our mail they pulled mail out of box# that matched our space# to be sent to.Still thats ok everyone makes a mistake.We drove 16 miles round trip stood in line 20minutes to send the wrong mail back.7days later we call to make sure are mail was sent employee which was very nice said no it did not get sent,it was bundled still sitting there The owner/manager was out of town I assume for thanksgiving I called his cell # left him a message twice he would never call me directly back always have his employee call the employee said he probably would not he was on vacation,I called the owner/manager left another message thats what we are trying to do enjoy our vacation,employee called me back very polite man.any way they would express out our mail because we were headed further south.I hope this not the norm going forward.

Excellent service

Everytime I have a shipping or postage need, I use this location. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, and since I'm usually stopping in while running errands from work, I don't always have a lot of time. They are fast and efficient, and I've never had a bad experience. I can't say the same for other UPS Store locations in the area.
