Mystic CT Marriott

My daughter recently stayed at your hotel. She borrowed my camera for her trip. She somehow left my camera behind. When we realized it was missing she called the hotel. They assured her that they had it and mailed it back to us. This was a $1000.00 camera. What wonderful honest staff at your hotel! Thank you.

Items stolen

I inadvertently left my hair straightener and curling iron at your Indianapolis North Inn on July 14. The Inn will not send them back to me They have been stolen. I know you are not responsible, I have have found other hotels will returrn things for only the cost of shipping. My straightener was a Chi and cost $100.000. It cost me $25.00 to replace the curling iron.

Disastrously poor services

For more than a week I have been trying to simply send my brother and his wife an egiftcard. This I have done before, several times. The problem is not with my bank or my creditcard, but with the totally incompetent beyond belief people working for you over here. Their english is hilarious, their attitude is beyond description. I must be the most patient Marriott customer on the planet to have gone to the effort to tell you you have a problem over here.

poor internet service

Detroit Airport Marriott had the worst internet service I have experienced. This is 2014 folks. I was not traveling with my own laptop so had to use the computer provided in the gift shop. Also the bed sheet had a big rip in it.

Courtyard Marriott, Southpark - Charlotte, NC

We have been staying at this hotel since 1992, whenever family events have led to an overflow condition at my mom's home. The stay last weekend may be our last as we gathered in Charlotte for her funeral. Everyone at the hotel was so kind - going out of their way to make our stay an easy one. A special thank you to the front desk staff, and the lady who was setting up breakfast on the morning of 12/8. You all have no idea how much simple acts of kindness help. Thank you for years of great service.

bed awful

I recently stayed at a springhill suites in hanover md. Going to bed at 10am in our king size bed. after 5 minutes got both kids up to remake the bed because the sheets would not stay on the bed. try to get into bed again sheets off again. feel asleep with in an hour sheets were off all four corners. I got up made the sleeper sofa because I did not want to sleep on the mattress. Well needless to say that bed was awful to sleep on. At 4am I finally gave up put the sofa back together and slept sitting up. I can't believe I spent over a $100 for a sleepless night.

Ripped Off In NYC

We spent five days at the Courtyard by Marriott in Times Square. Our room reservation included breakfast. This was confirmed at check in. The next morning we were told that the breakfast charges would go on our bill but I should keep the receipts and turn them in at the desk for the charges to be taken off the final bill. This I did the night before we were to check out, however when I got our receipt in the morning the breakfast charges were still there. I pointed this out to the clerk as we were leaving and he promised to take care of it. I received my itemized charges by email and the charges were STILL there. My call has not been returned.

Disappointed

Stayed in the Courtyard Marriott in Montgomery AL on Oct. 12, 2013. Had never stayed in a Courtyard before but figured it had to be good with the Marriott name. WRONG. Very disappointed for what we paid. Internet was like having dial up. Room was just OK; jacuzzi wasn't working and the breakfast was $10.95 per person. Will never stay at a Marriott again.

nightmare

Recently we stayed at the Mariott in Melville, NY. Although the stay was nice, we were charged for our stay repeated times. The charges were debited to my checking account in excess of $600.00. My acct was overdrawn and insufficient funds fees of $115.50 were incurred on my acct as well. It has been over 6 days and this issue has yet to be resolved.

Bikes stolen at Tulsa, Ok Fairfield Inn

On August 19, 2013 our 2 bikes were stolen from the bike rack on our camper van parked in the Downtown Fairfield Inn parking lot. The bikes were locked onto the bike rack. We provided documentation to the manager of the hotel regarding the cost of the bikes, which totaled $641.00. After a number of weeks their Insurance company informed us that insurance would not cover the cost of the stolen bikes. The parking lot had no cameras and no security guard. We made a big mistake in staying there and will not be staying at any Marriott hotels in the future.

extremely poor customer service

Had an issue with Reisdence Inn Buckhead Ga. Contacted Marriott customer care and had a great conversation. Everything down hill from there. Left several messages for the Gm and Housekeeping managers with no return call. Called customer care back today and was made to feel like a second class citizen. Way to drop the ball! I travel a good bit but I wont be staying with Marriott ever again.

Mr.

I had a terrible experience last week at Marriott Town Suites in Arlington Texas. We just drove 700 miles in 12 hrs and when we arrived, we were informed that the Hotel was overbooked and our two bedroom suit was given away. My blood pressure went sky high, I am a 100% Disabled Vietnam Veteran and cannot endure much stress. We had to wait for an h o it and they found a Residence Inn about 21 miles away. What could we do but accept. When we arrived they charged our credit card for $750.00 for a 3 day stay. The Town Suits did offer to pay for one night, which was thankful. The Director offered us 15,000 pointed to receive another room in San Antonio which was our next stop. When we arrived, we were informed that they did not have air h Keith to grants US the one night stay because the points wereonlyforspecific rooms and they could not override the rule. We arrived around 4pm and our reservation room was not 're a st. After25 minute wait, it was 're a st. Boy were Erin for a surprise. There was baby puke on the couch, no towels, Kleenex, my wife had to clean the whole my c hen. Enough said. Not very happy with t h MARRIOTT facilities and customer service. Stay away from Texas.

AWFUL experience at the Marriott in Bethesda

I would NEVER recommend this particular hotel to anybody let alone anyone with special needs. I reserved a handicapped accessible room with 2 double beds and a roll in shower in March of this year (my husband is a parapalegic). I had a confirmation number and a guaranteed double bed room and roll in shower. We were travelling with 2 of our kids. When we arrived I gave the front desk clerk my reservation. I could tell there was a problem by the look on her face. She confirmed a King size bed room and I told her I had a guarantee for 2 double beds due to us having 4 people in one room. She went and got her supervisor. I wish I had gotten his name but he was EXTREMELY rude to both me and my daughter. He refused to offer us an extra room for my 23 yr old adult children. He informed me they gave my room away to people who wanted to extend their stay. I asked him if he could find me another hotel in the area that would be the same price. He offered me one hotel almost 100 dollars more per night. So I had to find my own replacement hotel. I have Never been treated so poorly and with such disrespect by ANY hotel before let alone a Marriott. This was an awful start to our vacation. Luckily we found a WONDERFUL replacement and was treated with courtesy and respect. The front office manager at the Bethesda Marriott could use some lessons on customer service. We Will NEVER step foot in that Marriott again and will encourage others to avoid this hotel at all costs!!!!!!

dreadful experience in gulf shores, al

this is among the worst managed hotels which I have experienced: I did not receive the room which I requested and the desk clerk promised, the only elevator for the 3 floors did not work, there were infants in diapers and glass bottled alcoholic drinking in the pool, the tub shower drained so slowly that there was 4 inches of water in the tub, there were finger prints on the sliding glass doors, the front desk was unstaffed when I went to check out and there was a sour attitude among the staff other than the original desk clerk who promised but did not deliver the desired room. needless to say, I won't be returning.
