There is no Goodwill store in Commack NY!

I have to agree with the previous writer. Horrible customer service at this store. Manager was gracious, the employees shouldn't be working with the public! I will start using the Salvation Army instead.

Excellent customer service! The current manager, as of Aug 2015 Is superb !!! I've been a customer @ this location for a while & I had to write this review because I notice a BIG change / improvement in the store lately! The staff is very welcoming ! A+

This is my All Time favorite Goodwill anywhere !!!!! I have been to a lot of locations and this by far is the best. It maybe small but it's Great. Always find a good deal there.

Upset with the random closures of Goodwill. I ventured out in the snow to pick up an item I purchased yesterday only to find it closed!!! Wasted 15 mile drive. Ridiculous!!!! This has happened on a few occasions and not in blizzard conditions!!! I find it rude!

Goodwill has certainly changed its image in the last several years, and this store is proof of the positive changes they have made! The staff is extremely nice, the store is very clean and orderly, and the 'finds' are AMAZING! I love the 'thrill of the hunt' when it comes to thrift store shopping, and this store never seems to disappoint!

This store is always organized, clean & tidy.

You can find almost anything there!!! And for a good price too!! And their workers are mostly helpful.

This store is large, clean and bright and has a much larger selection than other stores in the area. Still had a senior discount day as of March 2014. Hoping that they still have it this winter.

Clothes cost way to much

They are rude. The don't accept any donations that are not in mint condition. What do they expect fine bone china? Then they charge to much for their items. So much for helping the less fortunate. They will never get another donation from me!

One of the two people helping unload was very rude. Never have been treated so badly when making a donation.

This is a large and clean Goodwill location. Friendly staff at drop off, good deals in the store.

There is always a good find. A lot of th clothes are so different that I shop there just to find a deal and find something unique. Always a good place to shop and now that Hallloween is coming up there is a lot of outfits to choose from.

The guy there just didn't want to work and was telling people that the truck was full while there were still spaces to store several boxes. He sent a person with just two paper bags full of donations to another location. I had to move all my stuff in the truck myself because the guy wasn't strong enough (even though the boxes were small and I was only donating clothes). If you want to donate to Goodwill, go somewhere else.

This store is way overpriced. People who donate want to help the needy in true GOODWILL spirit. The merchandise is very very expensive. This is common knowledge to area residents. They also remove 99% of the color of the day items to store in the back. I have witnessed this and they also admitted it. Goodwill is not providing goodwill for its community. At least by dishonesty at retail stores.

This store is GROSS, everything is filthy, dumped on tables and floor. Half of the stuff on the tables are literally TRASH like used beer cans, empty boxes, broken glass.... They don't even have a "price system". Every cashier decides on their own what they want to charge you. The customers are INSANE. pushing people, hogging 3 carts, flinging things everywhere. I know we're on the West Side but COME ON!!!!!!!!!!

I had a very bad experience at the West Bend store with a rude cashier as did the customer in front of me. She was belligerent and when I said that the old system used to track my Birthday Coupon, she basically called me a liar. It's a shame that the card now expires. Wish I was notified about the change. Don't plan to visit here anytime soon. Will be supporting the mission. NOT!

I've been here, never had a problem with staff. It's like any others I have been to.

Good experience there, they keep it well maintenance, organized and clean.

Horrible experience. Manager watched me waiting at the front counter for like 5 minutes while she BS'd with another employee. Even another customer had to step in and say something. After manager finally made her way to the front counter I pointed out that one of the items I had was mislabeled. She then shrugged and took it from me...refusing to fix the error. This is a normal trip to this Goodwill. Stay away at all costs.

Large variety of clothe & furniture.

Extremely over priced for donated items.. some things are more expensive than retail stores.... management needs to remember that there is a recession and people need a break.

I love this store! I find some great bargains for my yard and home. I buy clothes at a discount and donate them to the homeless. The staff is very friendly.

Staff are very knowledgeable and the prices are great. Very clean & organized. I often Donate and usually will go shop in the, my teen prefers to shop here then the mall. "It's the same, just a lot cheaper". I must say in today's world hearing this is very refreshing. She told me about shopping there, I didn't have a clue. I would recommend this store and will be donating & shopping tomorrow

you really need to make your page a little more attractive to where when someone looks up at least it is worth understanding.. you need to put hours of operation,, and also advertise the sales that is going on ...it would really be a better site to come too!!

IN THE LAST SIX MONTHS THE STORE HAS CHANGED FOR THE WORSE. NOT AS FRIENDLY, CLEAN, OR ORGANIZED. LOTS OF BETTER THRIFT STORES TO SHOP AT.

Today my husband and I donated a truck load of goodies. We donated some old golf clubs. But, before the clubs were taken into the store the guy helping unload gave them away to a guy that just came out of the store. I donated them so your store could make money!!! I have always donated things to Goodwill. But as of today I will NOT be donating to them again!!!!!

I love this store! Until jesup opened up the best goodwill store I had shopped was in Atlanta. It is a real gift for a store of this caliber to be located in our little town. Thank you Goodwill!

I have visited this Goodwill many times and it is organized and the staff is always very helpful and courteous...

It's a nice organized store. I will on Furniture they get to pricey. This is a used merchandise store. I don't know of they feel bc they are in Franklin they can over charge? People in Franklin are on a budget too! All in all nice place just need to come down on the prices.

The address 73330 Highway 111, Palm Desert CA 92260 is either old or just plain wrong. The goodwill is actually between Desert Drive and Magnesia Falls on Hwy 111 in Rancho Mirage. Took me a lot of driving to figure this out! Hope my comment saves you some time!

The store was closing, but they let us in anyway. Then the manager turned off the the light as soon as we walked in. What terrible service. I will never come back.

this is a great company . this store location is by far my favorite one because the very nice polite entergetic and customer service friendly. i recomend goodwill stores #1 is 35th ave. and peoria #2 union hills and 59th ave

this is a great company to begin with but i think this is one of the better locations because of the cleanliness and very nice polite great customer service the employees have with there upbeat and positive attitudes. Highly recomend checking them out. And last but not least they always have plenty of items i love and can buy.

I love this store, but lately every little while they come on over the inter-com with long, drawn out messages, while you are shopping. It's very tiring to listen to it, endlessly.

I love going to this store when i am in cookeville....the Goodwill stores up in my area look like horrible cluttered yardsales...this store is clean, well sorted clothes and have alot of variety to choose from....The staff are exceptional! I would highly recommend this store if you are in the Cookeville area.

We went to this Goodwill to GIVE THEM things and the staff was rude, wouldn't help us bring things in, wouldn't even hold the door open.

I totally agree. Id like to know how much it is before I get to the counter and spent all that time sorting through to find a top I liked. Now, I wont say ALL of them are unmarked but I do see items in there unmarked. Its stupid. Do like goodwill on olive and place a barb on it with the price tag if its UP in price. Its kinda annoying to find out once you pick everything out and get to the counter.

I went to goodwill on 117 ave I need a washer I thought that would be a good place something I could afford never in my life did I expect the result I got. We spent the last of our money on a washer $40.00 just to get it home and find out its broken and all the store could say is were a as is facility .They sold us a broken washer in my eyes they stole our money. I have looked all over the internet no where does it say as is facility. Were broke an I can't even go to a laundry mat because we spent our money on this broken washer they sold us . My rating of this store is negative....

This location needs more boys clothes size 6-7. I have been going to this location for past 4 yrs abt 2 times a week & never been able to find (any) jeans in this size and hardly any clothes @ all in this size, is there a reason for that? I love your store the prices are very reasonable & selection good except for the size I mentioned above. Please see about getting more Boys 6-7, would b greatly appreciated. Thank You Nancy

I love this store. The staff are friendly and the store does not look like a typical thrift store. I always find great clothes and cool treasures.

The Goodwill Store in Brunswick New York recently had to downsize to a smaller space. However, this has not changed their wonderful displays, super friendly personnel who work there! The cashiers and folks who put the items on the shelves for us to peruse can't be nicer! They always greet their customers with a smile and a Welcome to Goodwill, as soon as they see you. The merchandise is categorized like in a dept. store, but the prices are nowhere near as expensive! If you love a bargain, you will love this Goodwill store! My son is disabled and he loves shopping at this Goodwill. Everyone is so nice to him and a lot of the people there already know him by name, which makes him feel very special. They are all a group of very special people and I want them to know how much we appreciate them and their being there. We hope the Brunswick Goodwill remains in our little town and only wish them the best!

Rude! The store closes at 8:30 and at 8:20 someone shouts out the store is closing in 10 minutes and then they turned off the lights! There was someone in the dressing room! When I told the cashier I thought this was rude she shrugged her shoulders and that was it. The manager was no better. Said this was policy! I will not be visiting this store again. I can go 10 minutes to the other store down the street!

This is one of the cleanest, well organized Goodwills I have been to. I've found great items, many new with tags. All the clothes are separated by size and color. Price of clothing is a little high.
