DO NOT purchase a KitchenAid product. Customer service is a joke. My brand new refrigerator needs a gasket for the freezer door to correct a problem that started last March. My authorized repair person will no longer deal with KitchenAid parts department. When I tried to order it the parts department “forgot” to enter my order. A person at customer service named “Dana” claimed to be sympathetic. She said she would look into the matter. She gave me her direct phone number. But her number is the equivalent of a dead letter box. She doesn’t answer and if I leave a message she won’t return calls. I’ll never ever consider KitchenAid again. I recommend that you stay away too.
