Review for: Time Warner Cable in Racine, WI

new location

new location is cramped and the need to sign in before getting to speak to a customer service person is unnesacerry. The location of the computer screen was poorly placed. Its next to the entrance which leads to a back up of customers. When I visited the line was out the door. It was 5 degrees outside. Poorly thought out idea.

Worse service.

I can't believe that it takes two weeks to get an appointment to have service hooked up, REALLY. It's too bad that there is no other cable company in Delhi because they would be getting alot of business.

pour customer service

Just recently got connected with TWC and had problems when I first signed up, but they have me a great package deal for $113 included free dvr and sports passe for 3 months and free turbo for a year. However after the first month my billed jumped to 200 dollars and I never got the spurts pass. Highly disappointed with the customer service as well, save yourself the trouble and go straight to dish!

Customer service is REALLY bad

It's been a long time since I talked to a customer service rep so unfamiliar with the products that they offer. And after a 30 minute wait, it was very exasperatiing.

Not only that, but even calling the local store automatically connected me to the same miserable customer service site.

I think I'll swith to Direct TV

Appalling customer care

New Year's Eve I arrived at the store at 3:10pm. i was told when i called at 10am That the store closed at 6pm. Not true. The store, without any prior notice, closed at three. There were still workers and still customers present in the building. All I wanted to do was return my cable box because I am moving to a new city. And employee, extremely rudely told me to leave and that no more customers were allowed in regardless of the issue. A cable box return is as simple as scanning the number on the back and matching it with the persons account. Customer service fail. We will NEVER use time Warner cable again because it seems their workers are more worried about celebrating the new year at three o'clock rather than helping an existing customer, who by the way would have reconnected their service in Houston, but now will make sure to not give this company another dime.

early disappointment

So this morning I was supposed to have my cable installed. They didn't call so I called the office. The lady hung up on me, then the guy called said he's running 45 min late. I'm not a happy customer. I feel like this may have been a mistake.

Terrible communications

Today is December 6, 2012 I late July I saw the $89.95 or maybe it was $89.99 Time Warner package for 12 months advertised on the internet. I called the number listed on the internet and talked with a young sounding girl that assured me that the advertised $89.9? package would be under $100 a month with fees and taxes. All my tvs would be included just as they are now. Internet, phone, full service. So I agreed to the $89.9? package for a period of 12 months as advertised on the internet. I was asked to let Time Warner contact century link and prisim to prevent any interruption in service… A few days later someone calls and schedules the installation for between 5 and 7 pm. About 7:30 the cable man arrives on the phone with his wife/girlfriend explaining he will be late. When the installation was completed, I had 2 instead of 3 tvs hooked up, had run out of channel guides so I asked him to show me how to find the movie channels… What movie channels? Not on the work order. I didn’t get them… But they are advertised on the internet as part of the package??? Not on the work order… I asked about the internet and was told they would mail me information.. It’s 10:30pm, this guy has to go to Raleigh, his wife is calling, he doesn’t care about my internet… He gives me a customer service number to call. This young man is going to send me another cable box for the 3rd tv, channel guides, see if the movie channels are part of my package and send road runner internet information. In late September my daughter told me a few of the movie channels worked now. I have not received any iof the other items yet !!! In October I went to the Wilson office to pay my bill because I had not received one. A hateful girl insisted I had received a bill 3 different times until she checked and the address was incorrect… Another girl helped me and explained that I owed about $530 for 3 months service of a $89.9? package??? Then she explained how even though they contacted my existing provider to switch the service I had to furnish proof of service with another provider and was being charged $177 a month??? Go figure? She gave me a form and requested I mail it in with the bill when I received it. The next day or so my cable was disconnected. I called and they reconnected it. A week later a truck came to disconnect the cable at the street. After explaining he asked that I go to the Wilson office because I had still not received a bill. I went to the Wilson office and a true sweetheart of a young lady faxed all the forms and receipts, gave me copies, and I paid what she said I owed to pay me up through sometime in December. Yesterday my service was disconnected again!!! I spent hours on my cell phone trying to straighten this out again. The people you have for customer service are not interested in anything I had to say. I called this morning as requested last night and had the same old wait hours and talk to contract people that can’t even understand the problem. When you get transferred by one you are right back in line to wait hours to talk to another one… I have paid about $500 for 4 months of a $100 a month service. How can I owe over $400?? I’ve done everything I was asked to do. 3 disconnections and poor customer service from the 1st day… I’m through… I will attempt to straighten this out for the last time today or schedule you service removal. I just can’t figure how you stock is doing so well?

Dreadful Service

A listed number for these people 843-548-4150 is re-directed with a wait time of 25 minutes. Despite an agreement they have arbitrarily increased their fees on November 1, 2012 by $48 annually for modem lease. Their CEO was paid a miserable $16.4 billion in 2011and clearly this not enough.
