air pressure matter?

If tires with correct air pressure, the tread will wear more evenly so the they will last longer, your car will handle better and safer, and you will save money on fuel.

Customer service

I was looking for a coffee pot. I checked online and found 1 at CTC. Went to get it and was told it was a store demonstrator and could not sell it to me. I asked if they could call another store and have one brought in and was told no but I could drive to another city and pick one up. I stormed out and went to another store and paid an extra $20.00 and will not go back there again.

Horrible service

I've had three bad experiences in a row at this Canadian Tire. This store is the perfect place to go if you're looking to waste time--and leave empty-handed & annoyed. Most of the staff can't even pretend they're interested in helping you.

great experience

Hi All. Well I am sorry but I have to disagree with you all. I actually have had nothing but good experiences at this location. I ve always been asked with smile if I needed help with something or if I found everything ok. As for the automotive side of it. I would never bring my truck to any Canadian tire anywhere as they are rip offs. I moved here from Ontario 4 years ago and thays who I felt with there. My bill was never less then 1000 dollars. I mean even for the simplest thing. They always said there was something else wrong. For that I would fix my truck myself. As for you people who have had bed experiences in the store. Maybe it's your approach. Try smiling yourselves and being nice. It will get you further.

F me gently with a chainsaw

Liar and a cheat. I was led in the wrong direction by this said 'David Essensa', or so his name plate says. I was so upset I could have shoved my boot so far up his prosterior, he would have been flossing with my shoe laces. And he knew it too. That's why he tucked his tail between his legs and fled in terror. My ears still ring from the high pitched seal-squeal. Overall though a solid 3/10.

Cut service in the service dept

This is not the 1st time I've had poor customer service from the service dept at this location. I am currently on hold after the phone was picked up. No hello, please hold, nothing! Just right to the "ignore"button/ Last time it was a female who charged me $20.00 to dispose of a battery I had bought there 2 days before that was a dud. This was without even asking or letting me know. I had to find out from the bill. Bill, what bill? It\ s there warranty issue. Talk about sneaky

Just bought a vanity at the Vermillion location. The item I wanted was up high on display. Staff were helpful, friendly and efficient. Excellent Staff

I was checking out, buying a set of rather expensive energy-saving light bulbs. The sales clerk, upon picking up the box, gently shook it and said she thought perhaps it may contain a broken bulb. She was correct. I had not noticed. If she hadn't taken the time to check out each bulb in the box, I would have had to return to the store to exchange it.

Great, attentive staff! Keep up the good work.

Out of Provience Sales

I live in Ontario, my son lives in Edmonton, he just bought a house and I wanted to buy him some pots and pans as a house warming gift, but to ship them from Ontario to Edmonton would cost me a $100.00 dollars. Canadian Tire would not assist me with this. I will spent my $350.00 dollars for the pots and pans but I guess I will use an American company that will except my Canadian Tire Visa over the phone. And trying to post this review is a hassle as well.

Misleading practice

My wife had her car serviced yesterday, including timing belt and sparkplugs according to the manufacturer's recommendation. She received a phone message from Jay stating that "It looks like the sparkplug wires need replacing". She agreed on that basis, but asked to see them. Upon inspection the wires were in good shape and didn't need replacing. The explanation by the counter-person in charge was " We always recommend replacement". This is a violation of trust.

And they Wonder why we refer to them as "Crappy-Tire"

WOW... such atrocious work and accountability!!! Switched out my summer tires to find a left over residue all over then tire which I had to scrub off, took my matching tire caps and replaced them with neon green ones and crack the tire sensor. The manager states the vehicles are inspected prior to leaving the garage, so how could you miss such obvious signs of poor workmanship?? When confronted, the "manager" attempted to claim no accountability, but claims its part of their policy when tires are filled with Nitrogen to notify they are filled with Nitrogen.. Its my vehicle, don't you think I will know this already.. did try and find replacement caps, even though its against their "policy". really??? Then with the cracked sensor, he turned and walked away talking to himself, I became exceedingly frustrated and appalled by this and decided to leave prior to me lashing out in a verbal rage. Will be returning to take MY tires out of storage, so this will not happen again... WOW, tires are basic for mechanics and they cant even do them right

Never be back

Was in your store to purchase a bike. After asking 4 times for assistance and no one coming I asked a guy from another dept and he tried to help the best he could but didn't have the knowledge I needed. After being in the store for close to 45 Minutes and close to purchasing a $700 bike plus accessories some man came and told me I had to leave because I had a back pack on. Needless to say after the terrible service I had received to this point and then to be treated like a child trying to steel a candy bar from 7-11 I left purchase nothing. I went to another store and bought a bike. Your staffs lack of concern for customer service, not to mention how rude I was treated not only lost you over $1K today but I will never be in your store again. I'm not looking for anything I just feel someone who has an interest in the success of the store should be aware of the way customers are being treated.

ILLEGAL TOWING AT CANADIAN TIRE AUTO CENTER

While setting an appointment at the Canadian Tire Auto Center located at 6700 Cote des Neiges in Montreal, my car was towed away while it was parked in a space reserved for Canadian Tire Auto Center clients! What a nasty surprise!!!

I parked in the proper place, my car was towed and then I was charged $75 to have the car returned. As a longtime client of Canadian Tire, this will be my last visit for car repairs, tire changes or shopping of any kind. Not a very smart way to treat clients.

The store manager made various excuses and basically blew me off saying it's not their problem!

No More Midas for Me Thanks...

No More Midas for Me Thanks...

I had a flat tire and stopped at this Midas shop for assistance and was told my tire was damaged beyond repair and that it needed to be completely replaced. The tech did not even inspect the tire from the inside (probably did not feel like taking it off the rim because it was the end of the day) and told me that from his experience he knew that this tire was damaged from the inside without even having to take a look at it from the inside. I decided to get a second opinion and stopped in at Canadian Tire, just minutes away also on Mapleview. The Canadian Tire tech properly inspected my tire (from the inside) and determined that it was not damaged to the point of requiring replacement and was in fact "like new". He showed me the punctures, repaired the problem and I spent just over $30. I also found the Midas rep there not very pleasant... No more Midas for me thanks....
