They lock their doors by 9:20pm, horrible customer service! Sent complaint to corporate hopefully this issue is addressed.

Clean, convenient, friendly employees also helpful. Just a little under stocked. But I give this one the maximum thumbs up.

The pepole that work at this dollor store are rude.the store never has any shoping carts and they never stock there shelves

I shop at this store weekly. The manager is always so friendly and helpful. The store is the cleanest around and has great variety. The prices are great, I highly reccommend this store.

This place is more expensive than most retail stores. They make you think its a dollar store but when you enter you will be sadly mistaken

I am a long time resident of the area, I was very surprised when I saw no views. So I will be the first, the employers at Family Dollar Bergen Street Newark. When u walk in they say hello, they do ask can they help you, the manager very respectful. And they do keep their store neat, everything is not all over the place. I give u all high five. Now the only problem I have their is no rest room, because I like to look around and by the time I get to register, I gotta go to bathroom. And when I did think about it maybe its better u all don't do the bathroom thing, because god only knows what could happen. Keep up the good work Family Dollar, u all are on point.

I have had wonderful experiences with the Manager (Eddie) and staff when ever I stop in to get the few things I need and always know I will find them there. Everyone is friendly and goes out of their way to assist in the store. I have enjoyed my visits so much that I applied for two positions at that location. I have great hope of being hired and being part of a winning team

I stop by at the family dollar store in Leadville CO to buy a few items I needed. I Was in urge to use the bathroom there was a short redish hair assosiate near the bathroom's door and didn't let me use it. She said didn't you see the sign at the entry doors. I headed to the doors and in fact there was a sign posted at the doors that said with capital letters SORRY NO PUBLIC BATHROOMS EMPLOYEES ONLY MGNT I was very dissapointed and walk out of the store didn't buy anything

Beware! Be certain and check your receipt because even though an item is on sale and has a BIG sale banner, products ring up at their original price. Other than their trying to rob me by overcharging me, this store is a MESS. Floor is dirty, shelves are covered with dust and most advertised sale items are OUT OF STOCK. Shop at other stores so you won't get ripped off.

They have a great employee whom is very polite and helpful to every customer and everyone in his store. I have witnessed him being cursed at and treated terrible by management. For example they would not let him use the restroom and yell at him for being friendly to his customers.

The Family Dollar In Covington,Ga had a sign on the front door at 10:30 a.m. Wed. Mar.20th closed for 1 hour! How crazy is that! They need more than one employee.

I love this dollar store its alot better then most family dollars I've been too, nd they usually have two registers open or open them when there's alot of people in line. Customer service is alright they do help you if you ask but other then that they let you be.

This store doesnt train employees properly fires them for no reason treats customers badly i will never shop there again fire the manager

I was in their a few says ago and the manager was acting like a control freak she yelled at the women in front of me slammed the close sign down in front of a customer she even yelled at the other employee all over a coupon. I don't see returning after that treatment.

Do not recommend this Family Dollar. Did not have a problem with products or prices; however the problem was with the manager. Very nasty attitude. Acted as though I was inconveniencing her; she refused a valid coupon I had and afterword got an attitude when I decided not to make the purchase. Openly complained about me to another employee about how I had messed her system up. Baffled as to how this woman is a manager with such a rude demeanor. Will not be returning here. Later went to the Family Dollar in Mt Holly where the manager gladly accepted my coupon and the employees were extremely friendly.

I would be nice if you could come in and get out a little faster after you buy your items and also perhap you could stock a better brand of bread, and perhaps, more beef products in the frozen food section, not everyone eats pork products .thank you you have a masjid right across the street from your store .how can you not see the business potiental in this .open your eyes in this matter .business is business .think

I would like to know as to why with the very high rate of AIDs in Newark that your store does not stay stocked with several different name brand codoms. AID and STDs are out of control in this city. there was just a very big AIDs rally at Essex county college. on thusday for the youth of this city as well as Adults. I think that you really need to step your game up in this matter..this is a very important issue please look into this matter. loyal customer. God Bless

was at the stockton hill store at christmas time and the gentlemen by the name Doug was very helpful and polite. He even counted my money back to me which doesnt happen and more in these big stores. I will return again

Mark, the employee was a great help and very nice to my family which is a great sigh of relief compared to the overpriced ghetto anthem of a food mart called bravo that is in the same plaza. It was nice getting the items I needed at prices I was comfortable paying, thank you family dollar

This Edgewood location has everything you need for all ages and occasions,and the staff Is always so helpful. The prices is Awesome. The store should be a Little bigger as far as space, but it's the best- Thank you Donna

The store is unorganized, you can't get any help. I was told that I could fill out an applicatation and apply, but when I called for the store number I was told (very inappropriately) that they were not hiring! Tried to ask her a question and she proceeded to cut me off and hand up the phone!!!

This store has been closed most of December The company lost business because of this. the reason was blamed on the cash register but i don't believe this is the truth. There was never any problems until the last couple of months. The store was remodeled this summer which made the store a very difficult place to shop. The aisles are now too narrow or at least seem that way. it may be because they are higher. it is very difficult to find the items you are seeking. The check out is at a very unusual place. They are away from the door and the back of them can be seen from outside the window. Not an inviting place anymore.

I think it's a great store. You save a lot of money.
