On December 1, 2012 I and my boyfriend decided that since he has been ill and does not get out much and he was feeling okay for a change would venture to Hardees for Chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches. We had received the ad in the mail and they were advertised for free w/ ourchase of Memphis Burger Meal. Also there was a coupon for 2 for $2.00. When we drove 8 miles to get there, to our disappointment we were told they had none made up. This was on a Saturday night @ 7:30 p.m. and temps. in the mid 60's. Needless to say we were shocked that with the advertisement pushing this item even displayed on the window they had none. We left and did not make a purchase. Unfortunately, it may be 3 or 4 months before he will feel well enough to go on an outing again or possibly may not be around to go. (You see he has a treatable,but incurerable disease and has a lot of weakness and difficulty breathing, walking,etc.) this may not be very important to some people but this was a big step for him only to not get good service. Oh yes we were told we could wait and she would go make some but they would be extremely soft.
