Amazing service and amazing food

They short me food every time I go it's a very poorly run location

Had teen burger and poutine worse ever, the poutine tasted burned, the teen burger had the worse flavour . Will not return even with coupons, not worth it at all.

Always good food when a quick meal is needed. Most of the time it is cooked fresh when you order

have been going there for about 19 years every day about 2 days ago they started to play this very loud noise they call music, just like going into a pub. not very impressed. now looking for another place to go for coffee.

got a classic breakfast and my eggs were foul almost vomitted at the taste avoid this location go to the down town one

More often than not the free wifi is not available

With just a few options for vegetarians (we don't eat just salad, and I'm not exactly a spicy food fan) veggi burgers are delicious and very well done with all the things a good burger has I mean onion, mayo, cheese. It takes a little more time to have it but, it is totally worthy. A star for that product development now I can share a meal with meat eaters. Thanks A&W!!!

The last 2 times incl.today was last straw.Order was classic eggs over easy and DRY BROWN TOAST. Both times white toast came with order soaked in butter.Last time I drive from Lanark to injoy what use to be a good breakfast.I c now why 50 car line up at Timmys cross the street and A@W lots empty ?

Right price for the right size. Ask for cheese, makes it even better. Great for a snack!

Food was exceptionally hot and fresh. Staff very friendly.

Worst root beer float I've ever got in my life. Warm root beer and barely any icecream equals melted icecream. I'll never go there again.

Loved my burger today, it was a little hard to eat because it was loaded with double cheese and double bacon, but it was priced right.

Impossible to get fresh hot fries at this A&W at night time. During the day they are great, at night terrible. Told the young girl that I wanted fresh fries, she said these are fresh. They were barely warm and very soggy. Not going back at night. Day time cooks much better. Need better cooks at night. Burgers were just okay.

Put an actual close time!! It fluctuates to when the manager feels like closing!?

Stood in line for 15-20min @ 8:00am...... had to leave due to work. More staff plz!!

If you want your order messed up this is the place to go, I've been through the drive thru maybe 5 times & my order has been wrong or missing items every single time. The staff is very unprofessional maybe it's time to hire qualified employees!!! JOKE

This location makes constant errors in the drive thru and when you call them on it, they are extremely rude and accuse you of lying. I will no longer frequent this location due to the poor customer service they display.

i couldnt even finish my chicken sandwich because it was so old and dry i couldnt stomach it!

I have personally talked to ten people in A&W this morning regarding the new cream jugs. ALL agree that they are not very sanitary As you know, not all people wash their hands after using the wash rooms. Now we have to use napkins to handle creamer, or use wash hands , waste more paper. Are you really saving money just to get customers upset. I personally go to your store 5 (five) days a week with many others.

With the terrible weather conditions lately it would be nice if someone at this location would shovel and de-ice the walks. Saw a pregnant lady slip and fall there today and nobody there cared. Management please take care of this. Other than this the food is good.

Coney sauce was so salty that you could not eat it.

Extremely poor service. don't go early in the morning and expect to get served when they open. I always wait 10 to 15 min past opening time to be served. I even tried to walk in and door was still locked. never again will they see my business!!! Hope the owner gets a chance to read this. I would like to talk to him.....

A&W Strathroy-perhaps leaving folks standing at the counter without acknowledging their presence is not the best policy when attempting to make a profit...loaded kids up after 8 minutes at the counter and not even an "I'll be right with you." Customer service--learn some!

Had a teen burger last saturday night and was room temperature warm

Went to this location for lunch. Only person in the restaurant and the place was filthy. Tables full. Garbage area stacked. Took 10 minutes for order while woman worked the drive thru. Handling money and all and then handles my food without washing or gloves or anything. Onion rings were under cooked and not edible. Root beer wasn't cold. What I learned is for 2.30 you can go across the street to Wendy's and have a hot, fast meal that was handled properly.

Awsome place to work

Management doesn't have a clue what there doing obviously, only a couple people in the restaurant and the employees just standing around throwing food at each other out of the Warmers in the back. The floor was so slick you could hardly stand. Nothing by the drink stand was stocked. Stood at counter for 5 min befor they asked what I needed which was only a lid for my cup. Would not recommend anybody to go there. The store itself definatly has an influence on the food.. Discusting!

They tried to server me a burger that was 5 hours old and ice ice cold. It took them 9 mins to fix one cold cheese burger. This place needs to be out of business. One fryer was working and 7 dimes as changes 71 cents with 7 dimes. I'm pissed

3 people without a clue. it took so long for a coney, i walked out and went home to make my own. and probably had it before the order was done.

A&Ws used to be middle-to-upper-middle level fast food. It's a long way {time} since they served customers at their cars {of course now there's 'drive-thru'. The food used to be pretty good ~ the Root Beer was always good ~ and now... What the heck happened? Portions are as small as can be.Quality doesn't seem as good. It's not cheap. Very little makes me fume like a visit to a place for food and the price is over the top for mediocre {at best}. Waste of money, time & appetite. What's really funny in my estimation, is that the A&W in Carleton Place has the only 24-hour drive-thru in a town of approx. 9 or 10,000 people. I doubt very much that this small population can sustain enough business to make a profit; I don't see how they can; it's dead every time I've been there. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody. It's another corporate failure in the making. And I used to like their Whistle Dogs sooooo much...

the food was good but the whole restaurant was filthy. The floors were very dirty, tables not cleaned off, garbage bag left laying by the door had leaked all over. My husband was going to use the bathroom but he walked out cause there was not bathroom tissue and a young man in an a&w uniform walked out without washing his hands. I hope he did not cook my burger!!! We won't stop there again.

Stupid place

Planned on eating breakfast at A&W but could not find out when restaurant opened. Website says "Hours May Fluctuate". A call late at night to see if there was a recording with the business hours just rang and rang. Disappointed but not surprised. Too bad, because I usually enjoy their products.

We just came from he above restaurant and I must comment on how dirty it was. Our shoes stuck to the floor and the tables were not cleaned. Unfortunately we will not go back it was so dirty and that's too bad as the food is good. This should be brought to the attention of the manager of A & W.

My family and I were lucky enough to come across this stunning original A&W, 1955 era. The architecture is beautiful and even had a open center fireplace, which was common in the 1950's and 60's. The atmosphere is cozy and between the neon signs, fireplace and classic building features, it brings you back in time to a better place. The food is classic A&W menu and the draft root beer is timeless. Great place to visit!

My family and I had stopped by this A&W location and it put a huge damper on our afternoon. We were waiting in the drive thru line for nearly 20 minutes. They were also out of ice cream for shakes and for floats, this was midday on a hot Saturday! And then the lady at the window hasn't put the lids on our drinks properly and we got soda all over the interior of our car before ever even pulling out of the lane. It was a disaster and all we wanted were some root beer floats.

Worst service from front line staff, did not appreciate the way lady was talking to me while taking my order. Too busy, seems like the owner/ manager does not schedule enough staff. Would not recommend anyone to go there unless you want to witness what I have been through. On a scale from 1 to 10 I would rate it as 1 (awful).

I like the A&W franchise as far as fast food chains go but this South Nanaimo location had dull, unfriendly service and didn't get our order right. We got home to discover the wraps were not the flavour we ordered. They looked like they had been sat on. Mushy and messy. The food was sloppy and extremely unappetizing. Won't go to this location again.

The manager is a great guy, talked with us for a bit and told us some great stories. Big building with friendly staff. Great uncle burger!!!

buddy burgers with cheese and bacon are awesome to eat. i love them so much I have at least one of them everyday. keep up the great burgers...

I went thru the drive thru, not only did they forget part of my order, they forgot the straws as well. Was on a half hr lunch and have no time to come back. Tried to call. Noone answers, just the machine. It is unacceptable that you can't get to speak to anyone over the phone. So of course you can leave a messege saying oh yeah they will call you back. And big surpise, no call back.

Hands down WORST burger I have EVER had!!! Fries were awful as well. We will never go back.

I love this place! It is the best fast food burger joint on the Island. I always add extra onion and pickles and am never disappointed. I love this A&W because the food is always fresh and hot! Great staff and service too!

I worked there for a few months and then I quit for a number of reasons. If you look in the back of the restaurant, it's filthy. They do everything half-assed to save money and it just repulses me. Their number one priority is MONEY! I wouldn't go there... just nasty everything is left out all day and they are too lazy to make new food. Stay away...

This A&W has the best of everything! The staff and management love their jobs. It shows in the way they work together. The staff make you feel welcome and in their words and actions invite you into their family and you feel at home. The food is absolutely amazing No better burgers any where. The cleanliness is superior. This is the place we all want to be it has it all for All. Even if you just want coffee.

I have been here a few times for the drive through. Order is never right and the food is terrible. Thought I'd try one more time tonight, food was cold, fries were soggy, forgot the sweet and sour sauce. Burger tasted like it was from last week. Absolutely disgusting. I will never go there again and I will tell my friends, family and co workers not to go either.

The food is very good but the washrroms are very dirty and broken which makes me wonder how clean the kitchen is. Another are to improve is the waiting time: it took them 15min to deal with the customer before me in line!

I literally sat in the drive thru for 25 minutes after I had ordered my food. No one ever came to the window to even take my money. They had my order then just forgot me.

A&w on the west and east ends of lloydminster suck! (East is a little better but never go to west one). Every time I go its such a long wait! Burgers are cold and staff have no training. A&w in the mall is the best they always have good staff and seem to know what's going on. I would drive out of the way to go to the mall one before any other!
