Review for: Save-On-Foods in Westbank, BC

Great service

I always get treated nicely here and the staff knows where everything is. The prices are high compared to other grocery stores, but the well trained staff softens the blow a bit.

No store hours

If you are going to have a web site to show store info location!hours are critical. So hours may fluctuate. just shut the web site down whatever time has been put into it has been a total waste. And incredibly ANNOYING tx for nothing. ps when I call the store and it's a fax number after all this looking. Wow stupid doesn't cover what I think of your operation.

Hours at your store

The hours at your location continue to be disappointing. I can't count on you to be open when you say you are on the sign on the street, and don't have access to any hours on your answering service or on the net. Shopping here has become inconvenient because of this, and I feel your prices are higher than the average store (franchise), particularly the bakery items - I can get bread for half of the price that you offer. Please update your hours, or provide them in a place I can find!

Review for: Save-On-Foods in Nanaimo, BC

Workers beware

It is absolutely disgusting how the staff are treated at a Nanaimo BC branch by the mangers. They are promised days off weeks to month in advance only to find that the manager wont give the dates promised. Also, there have been a number of employees begged to go in on their days off due to staff shortage in exchange for future days off, which the managers also deny after they get what they want. These managers are abusing there power and should be assessed thoroughly. I will NEVER advise anyone to apply for a job at Save on Foods.
