EXCELLENT tire leak repair. Tire was even dismounted and re-balanced. GREAT old fashioned service.

do not take your vehicle here

Do not and i repeat do NOT take your vehicle to monro.the details are too numerous to go into here but they recommend uneeded services and way over charge compared to their local competitors and have been tampering with my car for 2 years. Confirmed after my last estimate by taking my car elsewhere for a second opinion. Monro was going to charge me twice as much for a repair and told me i needed a new power steering motor which their competitor assured me i did not need. At the same time i had the competitor fix monro's latest intentional faux pas because i dont want monro anywhere near my car.

Good Curtesy check

I went to Monro around 6 PM when the shop closes at 7 PM and even though they didnt had time they agreed to check my car because it was making wierd noise in the engine side and the manager found out that it was because of lack of oil, since it was risky to drive back home he pour required oil in the engine so that i can go back home and requestd to take appointment to do a oil change and engine insepection. I appreciate the service and looking forward to go again

Robbery

850.00 for the rear wheel cylinders and brake shoes? This is nothing short of robbery. I will never take any car there again, The wheel cylinders did not need replaced anyway. These people are con artists.

Service excellent. I walked in and they gladly took my business and honestly told me it was going to be well over an hour. This allowed me to make plans. My car purrs beautifully.

rip off

Got over charged when going in for an inspection. The said they would not pass my car because it needed new windshield wipers ($30 + tax for the cheapest ones i have ever seen) a "new" gas cap ($20+tax) and my brake light had a small crack (over $150 +tax).

Disguisted

Been going here for a couple of years, spent over $3k and still haven't had the problem fixed. Found out they were using recycled oil too, which is not good for a lot of cars. They have all kinds of discounts but all they really need to do is charge a reasonable price then they wouldn't need it. Never going back again.

Robbery

These guys tried to talk me into a $3200 replacement of my entire suspension and brakes. My dealer said I needed my rotors turned, and $400, enough said.

Terrible

I was quoted $60. When I got my bill I was charged $90. Also, they took my air filter out which they were not told to do and then told me I needed a new filter which I declined. I took it somewhere else and it had no issues. When I picked up the car, my tire pressure light was on and I thought nothing of it. Turns out that it was on because they tightened the sensor too much and now it is leaking. I have to buy a new sensor for it and pay for another repair that is not necessary. I've talked to other people who I worked with who have used them and have had issues where they actually broke the sensor.

expensive

I think they over charged me. $300 to replace 2 serpentine belts. Seems like you can only trust local shops as corporate chains tend to get greedy.

BAD service

Cost me hundreds in repairs to fix the damage they caused to my car and then acted like they knew nothing and that I had never been there so mad!

Excellent, Trustworthy Service

We have been taking our cars here for almost a year and they have been nothing but honest, courteous, and accommodating about everything. We were used to dealing with slimy car mechanics that would lie and overcharge, and this shop was a welcome change. The owner is a Christian and it shows in his business manner. I have had great service from everyone I've dealt with there. They try to get you in as soon as they can, and don't take all day to get the job done. Highly recommended!
