Karla, Specialty Cheezes

Karla's choice of cheeses and arrangement of her section is not only professional, but full of a delightful variety for my husband and I to enjoy trying. Karla's help and upkeep of her department is a joy to experience!

Awful store layout

The front entrance is impossible - this is a small community and if even 2 people stop to visit in the entrance you can barely get past; the isles are so small it's difficult to get 2 shopping carts past each other. The produce dept is small and incredibly crowded. The entire staff acts like if they even say hello to you they'll get fired. I've taken most of my business to the Albertsons here in town. I absolutely hate this new remodel and store lay out

Produce quality

Shopped here for years. Beautifully displayed produce and never had a problem with quality of produce. Equal to or better than other stores we've shopped.

Produce Department

This store has the poorest produce. Of any grocery sore in GJ. Every ime I am in the store the produce workers are so busy talking to each other (not about store business but personal) they don't even acknowledge customers and ask if they can help. The vegetables are poor quality as the produce is old and stale. The corn on the cob today was brown, dry, and old. Kudos to the rest of the departments but I won't be buying my produce from City Maket. I don't need to shop 2 different stores. Therefore, after today's nd other days experience with produce, I won't be going back to City Maket!

Slack employees

This is the only full service grocery store within 13 miles and they act like it. They expect you to price check your own items Nd bag your own groceries. They will bag them but, they take their own sweet time and drag their feet, waiting for you to do it. It's sad, if another store opened up here they would have no competition!
