We visited the store today to get some baby clothes. One of the store employees told our five year old to put the gift card the took back on the cashier's desk (no problem about that, or course he put them back right away) What bothered us was the tone she used while talking to him, and most importantly, the fact that she talked directly to him without even looking at us, his parents. I truly dislike shopping at stores whose employees talk rudely to my children; particularly if they are a children's store. Sadly, this particular employee was rude and had no customer service training.
