Verizon customer service is staffed with zombies. Paid my bill via the Verizon web site. Didn't debit the money and said that I still owed it. The online websupport people told me the they could see the payment, but billing couldn't? She told me to pay it again online. I asked if they would debit my account twice. Oh not she said--it's in the "notes". So I paid it as she requested and guess what! They took out the exact same amount twice!!! What a bunch of clowns. If I want the duplicate payment back--I would have to get a document from my bank and it would take 17 days, and all of this was their fault and their error! The customer service people appear to be zombies who are told nothing and read from a script even when they have screwed up. I'm out the second payment but paid up for 2 months. They ought to be fined by the consumer protection agency for the way they treat people and steal money from customers.
