NO LOCAL PHO. NOS.; usually a foreign country. When my husband died, phone, thus cable, in his name. All other services transferred by phone or mail--credit cards, banks, pensions, insurance--but NOT COMCAST. Widow cannot make ANY changes until appear IN PERSON to prove his death and her connection. Nearby office not available by phone; gave me location 150 miles from here. When a friend directed me to office 10 miles from here, rep was extremely curt. I HATE COMCAST and would choose other provider if available!!
