I cancelled my service with Comcast at the beginning of September. I had prepaid a month in advance because they like to be paid for services not yet rendered. I paid approximately $180 and was told that would be a credit on my account and would be refunded. They sent me a box with a prepaid UPS label to return my equipment, which I did and have verification it was signed for at Comcast. Now they tell me that although they signed for it, they can't find it and refuse to refund my $180 until they locate it. They also have an "Equipment Recovery" company sending me letters telling me I either pay for the equipment or sign back up with Comcast and then I won't have to pay for it. THEY SIGNED FOR IT. I HAVE PROOF. I think they count on people giving up and just letting them keep the money. I have contacted the BBB and am now going to start a Facebook page so that other people will know what happens if you get involved with these people.
