Review for: Salvation Army in San Antonio, TX

store excellent

Contrary to an earlier review, this store has many excellent qualities. And the manager is helpful, friendly and goes out of his way to treat customers with respect and kindness.

Salvation Army

Old furniture that is priced to high. Old clothes that you wouldn't even be able to sell at a garage sale. The manager at this location walks around like a big bully.

Prices to high

Staff are friendly and helpful . But prices are to high. when everything is donated to the store. Nor are they willing to negotiate prices. This store is here to help people not rob them of there money

Review for: Salvation Army in Evansville, IN

Avoid.

I used to love the Salvation Army on Weinbach. Lately it's way overpriced. They seem to be charging retail prices for their donated Target merchandise. I'd go to Target if I wanted to pay retail prices. They have a return policy and a guarantee. Why pay so much without that? And the manager is horrible. I see her yell at staff, customers, complain alot and bully people regularly. Thrifting is supposed to be fun. Every time I go in, she's complaining and/or yelling at someone. I'll be donating and buying only from Goodwill from now on. A Christian organization shouldn't be acting like that.

Best choice to go for buying dishes. Wow $1.50 for a large plate, plus the staff make sure that all electronic items are in fine working condition.

Wonderul, personable service

While this store is smaller than similar stores such as Value Village and its selection limited, it is very clean and I have always found the staff warm, friendly helpful and extremely courteous. If you are looking for a pleasant shopping experience, I recommend this little gem. Donations are eligible for an in-store credit/certificate.

Review for: Salvation Army in Shreveport, LA

my husband and i had a wonderful time helping the Angel we adopted.

This was a great way to help with learning , toys, clothing,in hopes that this will make our Angel a very excited. this has been the most fufilling for the soul. I will always, adopt an angel from the tree, from here on out. This is what christmas is all about, to see the sparkles in the eyes of these Parents, and children.
