nice people suck at keeping stock

I've been spending 100 dollars a week at this place for almost 2 years and they seem to not be able to keep the medicine in stock. .

Excellent customer service

I love to shop in cvs but what really makes my experience diferent is the nice treatment from the assistent manager Mike Sibug. He always takes time to listen and acomodate my needs. thanks to him i will never shop in another location.

Terrible pharmacy

My doctor faxed over my prescription( which was for my iron pills and prenatal) take an hour to be ready. I went the following day and they only gave me iron pills said doctor didn't fax the prenatal which is very important because I'm having twins and very high pregnancy. So I called my doctor which explained she faxed them both together

They don't even answer their phone!

Tried to call to find out about whether a prescription had been received, and no one even picks up the phone! I would call that pretty bad customer service.

Waste of time

Unfortunately I have had to use this pharmacy repeatedly. It seems like every time I go pick up a prescription there is a problem. I will call to ask the cost with my insurance (they have my insurance info) and it seems that they just make up a number. After waiting in line I get the prescription and it is a totally different price. No accountability. Last time this happened I drove back & forth 3 times because they kept not having it ready, then had a question for the MD, then said it was covered but realized it wasn't. Finally when I started getting really mad they said "Well it is over the counter anyways, so you can just pick up the generic off the shelf." WHAT?? I was so furious. Hours wasted!

Rude manager

I bought 3 bags of candy that had a sign saying they were on sale.....When I got to the cashier I was charged the regular price. I asked if they were on sale.....The manager was very rude and said " nothing here is on sale".....There were many items with sales tags on them. I then went to another cvs returned the 3 bags I had bought and was able to get the sale price.

I plan to report this to consumers complaints for c.v.s.

Terrible service

Worst pharmacy I have ever used. They put us on automatic refills against our wishes and we are still on it despite numerous requests to be removed. They mishandled a prescription faxed to them and showed little interest in correcting the life-threatening mistake.

poor communication

The people working in the drugstore are very friendly and helpful, but I had some problems recently with getting a prescription approved for my son by the insurance company, and then having to go with a generic. They messed this prescription up several times, not bothering to tell me what was going on and why the prescription wasn't approved and called me several times telling me I had a prescription ready, but when I went to pick it up, they didn't have it available yet. They leave electronic messages for someone with a name other than mine, and when I asked them to find out if they had me mixed up with someone else, they gave me a clueless look and then assured me that this was not the case. This has been going on for weeks, and I have finally gone with another drug store that can get their facts straight.

Worst CVS location I've been to

This place is horrendous. It's always a mess, they rarely have what I need in stock and on multiple occasions they have been closed (with no note, no reason or explanation) well after their 7am opening time. I go to a bagel store that's a few shops away from this CVS a few times a week, early in the morning. The bagel shop doesn't open until 7:30 and I would say that more often than not if it's before 8am, this CVS is closed. I've even seen it closed as late at 9:30am!!!

The pharmacist is RUDE and IMPATIENT

Today I called the CVS pharamacy on 61st Street in Galveston, to refill some of my prescriptions. When the automated recording sent my call to a pharmacist, the pharmacist picked up the phone asking what I needed. I told her that I needed some prescriptions filled but that the automated recording was having trouble with finding them. She then asked me the rx numbers, and as I was giving them to her she interrupted me and told me "that's too many digits" then put me on hold without any warning. I waited patiently for five minutes before hanging up and trying again. When I called back, the woman answered immediately asking me to hold. She had me on hold for 6 minutes. When she picked the phone back up, she said "CVS pharmacy, how can I help you?" I started to reply to her "I need some pres.." then she interrupted me, and in a very rude and impatient told told me "CVS pharmacy! How can I help you?" I was shocked at the rudeness of her interrupting me then giving me that tone.. I waited one second to make sure she was done interrupting me, then I started to reply to her again "I need some.." then AGAIN she rudely interrupted me in a rude and impatient tone "CVS PHARMACY!! How can I help you?"

Also, last time I picked up my prescriptions from here I had gone in the drive through. There were only 2 cars in front of me, but it took 20 minutes from when we got there for the pharmacist woman to get to us. When she finally did, she told me that she was running behind and that it would take several minutes for her to get my prescription ready (which was due to be ready for pick up just an hour before arriving). I told her "That's fine, we can wait." At this point, 3 other vehicles pulled up behind me. She looked out the window, then told me "If you could, just drive back around to the end of the line while I get your prescription ready." What?? After her taking 10 minutes minimum with the people that were in front of me, are you serious? So we kindly told her "We have been waiting a long time as it is, we do not wish to give up our spot just to wait a lot longer." The pharmacist then rolled her eyes, and walked away. Five minutes later she handed us my prescription.

I do NOT recommend this location for ANY pharmacy needs.
