Lacking professionalism

I was incredibly disappointed with the lack of professionalism in my recent experience at this location. I went in, switching from a different company, wanting an iPhone. On my first visit we spent over 2 hours in there listening to how great androids were and trying to transfer the lines. They did nothing but tell me how wrong my decision was and how I would regret it. When I returned a week later, they once again began attacking my iPhone decision and did not transfer my contacts prior to wiping my old phone clean. I LOVE my new iPhone and the cell service is much better, but I will not be returning to this location.

How things have changed

Please disregard my prior review. My last two trips to this store over the last 18 months have ended in nightmares, added expense and required me to deal with total incompetents. They managed to remotely trash one family member's phone, requiring her to come to the store, reactivated a stolen phone, killed my phone (business) and mis assigned my number to another phone. This required an additional trip to the store. All in all, NOT GOOD. The early cancellation fee is looking like a bargain.

Bad Business practices

This store is not an AT&T corporate store and therefore misrepresents itself. They use strong arm sales tactics on the elderly, forcing or try forcing them to buy thing they do not need.They do not inform customers that phones cannot be returned in the 14 day policy AT&T without paying a restocking fee of $35 dollars. I strongly recommend you to not go to this store. Call AT&T and ask for corporate locations.I would give this store a zero, but the program will not allow that, so I had to give it a one.

I went to get a new SIMS card. Not only did I wait for over an hour for my turn (with 4 children) but then they directed me to a phone to activate the card. I was on the phone with India for another 45 minutes & finally had to put a store associate on the phone. A huge waste of my time.

The worst

The long standing stain on the carpet right smack dab in the middle of the show room should have been a clear sign of the treatment customers should expect. The sales person I was working with high five'ed the annoying LG sales rep when he "sold" two IME numbers to another store. Then they talked about making top charts for sales that day! I also could not get it through that LG sales lady's head that I did not want a tablet sized phone to hold up next to my head for a phone. My wife and I left this store with such a hatred for AT&T than ever before that I'll never be an AT&T wireless customer again. This is the 3rd store that we have received this loyal customer treatment to.

Personnel at this store are very rude, unprofessional and unfriendly. Today I came in to the store 30 minutes before store closing and the front desk attendant completely ignored me because she was counting money, she did not even looked at me. When I asked for help and information she said they were about to close. I will never go back to that store and I will never recommend it.

This ATT location use to have impeccable service. Not anymore. Very poor customer service. Blonde female employee was so rude and unfriendly. Felt like she was purposely being difficult by not helping me or trying to answer my questions. Just stood there staring at me like I was bothering her. I had to keep asking questions to get her to help me. I got nothing resolved. She told me I needed to contact Otterbox. Otterbox says I need to return to ATT. It's obvious she was passing the buck. I want to terminate my contract with ATT. I am not buying anything else in there.

Don't Shop Here no stars

Store does not stand behind their sales. Refused to replace a Ipad Mini less than 48 hours after the sale. They expected the customer to keep the defective product or pay 10 percent restocking fee. Do you want to take the chance? Go to another provider or better yet don't use AT&T at All!!!

Seems like this is the way they do things. I called because of a HORRIBLE billing mistake on their part, the person BEGRUDGINGLY offered to "help" by putting me on hold until they after they closed. I am no longer an AT&T customer, but avoid THIS store like the plague. There are better locations, give a private reseller the business, or better yet, go with T-Mobile.

BAD Customer Service

We have received the very worst service from this store. Certainly not helpful, quite intend on selling an upgrade as opposed to trying to understand a customer problem. As a result, we lost our eligibility for an upgrade and the promise of a new phone solving the problem were not fulfilled. Of course, once the sales was made it became irreversible, do in part to AT&T's policies. Convenient place to put the blame. Not we are stuck with a phone we didn't want. The service problem still exists, despite their promises. Apparently AT&T has a problem upgrading their towers and keeping their system maintained in a way to service their customers with quality service.

Worst experience!

I went to this store last year around October. I needed a new phone and I wanted to renew my contract with AT&T. I had the worst experience there. The guy who works at this store offered me a phone which right now doesn't work anymore. I just found out that he has sold me a used phone!!! Of course, I purchased it as new. At that time, he also told me he would do the rebate for me and I would receive the rebate money back in my first payment. Didn't happen! I called several times, until he told me to go to the store only to tell me that he will do it later and me going there was a waste of time. I did tell him that I didn't like this experience and that I would call AT&T (although he said they do not work today! what a lier)... Bottom point is, I would never go to that AT&T store again and I would advice anyone to NOT go there.

Normally I HATE entering an ATT store. I've occasionally had phone problem (iPhone lost all contacts on a trip and neither three ATT stores nor three trips to Apple store could help - did talk ATT on pone to letting me get Galaxy 4 months early (big deal). But Nick, an 18 year old teen who works Sunday afternoons is the most polite and helpful person I have ever run across.. He gets hourly plus commission and I bought accessories I could have got cheaper on line just because he is so good. He can set your phone up like you like it with helpful shortcuts..

Very disappointed in the AT&T Lexington store at 114 Townes Center Drive. They have the S4 and HTC One phones but none of them are live phones on display. They only have the dummy phones to look at. What the heck??? If I'm going to buy a new phone, I want to be able to operate the real thing and compare. Don't waste your time going to this store!

Rude and snide

I have nothing against AT&T but some of the people working at this particular store need an attitude adjustment. On top of screwing up by making a new SIM card of my wife's phone number and putting it in my phone, which the worker had written in front of him, they proceeded to ridicule me about how I'd purchased an iPhone 4 with a broken power button (there's a work around within iOS devices to make this a minor issue) and had a good laugh at my expense. On top of that, when I'd asked if someone was the manager present they broke out into grins and giggles, even after I started to film them with my iPhone. I'd pick a different store to go to personally if you have to do business with AT&T, the thought of going back into this location turns my stomach.

Also, they try to sell you a bunch of junk when you come in -- speakers, phone case, protector, additional insurance, a kindle, etc. They failed to inform me that at&t charges a $36 "upgrade" fee when you get a new phone. Nonsense, just another way to take more of your money! I find them extremely frustrating and I need to find a new cell phone providers!

Went to AT&T to purchase a phone charger. Entered store and noticed two sales associates talking to two individuals. Found the charger on a shelf and proceeded to wait at counter. Ten minutes later listening to the small talk I asked if I could check out. Sales women replied that she couldn't wait on me for at least an hour. I laid item down on counter and proceeded to Best Buy and purchased charger in about a minute. Then tried to email AT&T couldn't find an email address so I contact this site and wrote this negative review. Not a Fan!

Two different employees in the store lied to me. They lied about the early termination fee by over one hundred dollars and their return policy for Otterbox cases. While my husband was at the store, there was one other customer browsing and they wouldn't answer the phones. The employees were too busy standing around chatting. Don't visit. It's a waste of time.

Stopped in Saturday to ask a simple question. There were 7 employee's 3 of which were pretty much useless. We were 5th on the monitor to be waited on. Once we were up the only thing the woman told us was that we need to go to Apple. She never looked at the phone to see what the problem was. We went over to the mall and talked with Anthony and he changed the setting and the phone works fine. The people at the other store are idiots!

Dishonest store

My husband and I both went in there at different times to upgrade our iphones. This store sold us on the $6.99 / month insurance but NEVER told us that this requires a $199 deductible. The call center guy said they should give you a pamphlet with the deductible info and they never did. They also added a $3 monthly charge per line that I didn't notice for a while. I know for a fact that I turned this charge down but here it is on my bill. This place sucks!

Great people work in that store espesially Dane. If I have an issue he can always solve any problem. It can be a technical problem with a piece of equipment or a bill problem, he will solve it no matter what.

Customer Service Miserable Fail

04/09/2013 Today around noon, I entered the store on Bay Area to the Technical Assistance section. I asked the young lady if I could get the syncing turned off on my phone. I had other parts to the request, ie, do not erase anything, put address book on Sim card etc. The woman took the phone and started making changes immediately before I finished speaking. She was extremely rude and non-communicative. Bad Experience.

Horrible Customer Service

I have been ATT customer for 12 years now and recently lost my phone in that area. I went to the store and customer service was horrible. The only thing store rep was worried about was how to sell me new iPhone and add additional services to my plan. He did not let me use their interent service to try and locate my phone via iCloud. I heard the same review from another customer. This place is a dump and someone should teach their staff how to do their job which is called CUSTOMER SERVICE
