Had to take later flight to Des Moines due to being bumped on earlier flight. Called Dollar and paid $120.00 more for car than originally had scheduled. Asked for 4 door economy car. Arrived at 11:30 p.m. Dollar representative said I booked Smart Car (2door, 2 passenger). Told it would cost me another $115.00 for a 4 door economy car. It was late and there was only one other car rental place open. I told rep what took place and they said basically take it or leave it. Sent an email to Dollar after I returned home airing my complaint. It has been over a week with no response. Dollar is no longer on my list of rental car options. They will take advantage at any juncture. NOT a reputable company.
