Towels Unavailable. Store will not ship.

I tried to get 4 towels that said they were "not available online" so I called customer service and they said to call the store closest to me. I did this and they had the merchandise I was looking for. I asked it they could ship it to me since I am 3 hours away. They said no. Even when I said I would pay for shipping. I was basically saying I wanted to buy $100 worth of towels and they said they could not take the time to ship them to me even if I paid for shipping. I was shocked. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD.

worst customer service ever

I received an email saying that there was a problem processing my credit card for an online order. I called customer service and was first told that the problem was not with my credit card, but with the stores own gift card. I called 3 times. Each time I was told that they could not figure out what the problem was, but that they would speak with the gift card supervisor (who would email me and ship my order). Finally, the 3rd time I was told my order had been canceled. Apparently, they could not ship the 2 small pillows I had ordered within 60 days. I was never contacted by anyone as I was always promised. The people on the phone never had any power, but always had to check with someone else (who was never available). After all 3 phone calls and an email to customer service, I have still not been refunded the money that they owe me for my gift card (after 22 days). Essentially they stole $20 from me and do not care at all about the trouble they have caused.

Great Service

I returned a bottle of rancid wine to the Fort Worth store today for exchange. I drink a lot of wine and understand this sometimes happens. However, the response I received from David was very unexpected. He happily exchanged my bottle of vinegar as well as giving me one of his favorites to try. He certainly made me a faithful world market wine customer! Thank you David, just when I thought good customer service was a thing of the past, you restored my faith. I will return, a lot!
