Incompetent and Inefficient Service

Without a doubt, the worst company in the U.S. with which to deal. Provides 3rd world cusromer service at premium rates. Comcast diconnected service 8 days early prior to a move. To get the service restored, I spent 2.75 hours on the phone with customer service, was disconnected 4 times, and received a bill for $156 for the 8 days of service that had already been paid on the previous bill. When I requested a Customer Service Supervisor, the agent with whom I was speaking said ..."no. I will not connect with a supervisor"... and disconnected me.

Absolutely terrible!!

I am the POA for my mother in an assisted living facility. The home moved to dish service, and so it took me weeks of frustrating phone calls to cancel her Comcast service - sending my POA papers to various locations, even Mexico, rude people talking over me - acting like I was tying to steal service from my mother - just terrible. when I thought I had everything straightened out - we get another bill with new monthly charges! Again I call and call. No local help - just other states. No one office communicates with another, and there is no way to get the same service person twice. Then Comcast started calling my mother at the home, trying to get her to sign back up for service. I had to threaten them with a lawsuit for harassment. Buyer Beware!!!

I just got service started and my bill went from 96.00 to 419.00!!!C.Service rude and you cant understand their English!!They talk over you and all I am saying is that is not right.They charging me for deposit that i gave their worker when they hook my cable up!!unsatisfied customer

Service all around is horrible

My cable was wired incorrectly - not grounded - shorted out my television twice. Then when I had them come look at my wiring they 'fixed' everything so that I should no longer have problems but will not reimburse me for my television - I have only requested one not both to be covered. Then, they double bill me and want me to pay the entire bill before they make changes to the charges with credits...no Thank You...so I cancel my service. Then I return their equipment and a week later begin receiving collection calls. They tell me that it takes 15 days to update the collection agency that I should not be receiving calls from anyway and to ignore the calls...Sorry, I cannot ignore my telephone ringing from a collection agency. I should have never gone back with their service and now I know that I for sure will never ever go back to their service - I will go without T.V. and internet before supporting their HORRIBLE call centers.

water line was cut and water bill was real high

the only thats giving me trouble is comcast and the water com giving me trouble is that no one knows what to do comcast tell me to call the water comp.and the water comp, tells me to call comcast so who do i call other then that i have good service they go out of there way to help me i need some one to let me go other then that comcast is good by me

Awful Service

I called the main number and waited 15 minutes then they cut me off. I called the local 800 number and there was also a 15 minute hold time. The service is awful. My problem is the TV Listings, 70% of the time it has "to be announced". What is going on?

customer service

The agents are not English speaking, they do not notate your accnt so if the issue is still going on, you have to explain everything again. And since the agents barely speak english, the issue really won't get resolved.

Sunday "customer service"?

Not! After almost 30 min of calling different Comcast numbers and only receiving robots bouncing me around phone tree limbs, I finally receive a message to hold on for 15 min or so and I will be connected to a "live" representative. 5 min later I was just disconnected.

Door to door salesman???

A young man just rang my door bell to ask me about my TV service. Does Comcast send people out to neighborhoods in the rain to try to increase TV packages?? I tried to call the local service center, but all phone numbers go directly to the service center in the sky! Hope I don't get robbed tonight!

We have been without internet service for 4 days. Your call center is rude and talks over you, Not to mention you have not trained them beyond cue cards. I want to talk to a local rep is that too hard to ask for? I should not be without service for the 3rd time in 1.5 years. I will be discontinueing my services and not recommending you to anyone.

Try To Pay My Bill

I try to pay my bill and could not get pass my password. I'm a new customer and do not remember my password if I had one??? Why, would trying to make a payment be so hard to do?????? Who, running this place??? I'm not a comupter genuis, but I know a company this size need HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Internet Service stinks

Had a need to change the password on our email account and a problem arose because I could not answer a "secret question". The service people I contacted via a chat line and eventually by phone did not speak English language. The names they used were Asian. It was very difficult tedious experience. I was asked my name, address, phone number, and account number 4 times and they were still not satisfied that they would clear be willing to help. We have been cable customers for 40 years in the same house; we have always paid our bill well before its due date. The service I received was extremely improper!

Awful customer service and overall value

Comcast Fredericksburg has to be the absolute worst in terms of customer service as well as overall value. I must be the most unlucky guy... EVERYTIME I have called for any reason, COMCAST is "...experiencing heavier than NORMAL call volume which may result in longer than normal wait time..." Really? So, after the longer than normal wait, you give information to a machine... and wait again... then you repeat the information to a human... and at that point, you may or may not get a satisfactory resolution to your issue... Absolutely the most brutal customer service I have ever experienced. I have had Cox Cable and they put COMCAST to shame. The DISH is looking better and better!

Terrible Sales Help

They try to sell you things you don't want and waste your time even when you specify exactly what you want to buy. And as another person commented the deals seem to change. I also told one rude salesgirl to let her supervisor contact me about a certain problem and left my e-mail. No reply a week later or yet. You would think that with subscriptions falling they would try to get every customer they can. I doubt if I will use Comcast judging from the customer service

Com' On

I hate Comcast. Each month we are charged for service we don't and have never had. We are always billed twice in one month, for the same time period, and if we don't pay the bill two weeks ahead of time, they shut our services off. The service is unreliable, customer assistance is a joke, and sometimes I wonder if this company even exists because they are so hard to reach. The people that come to the house are polite, but they charge us for fees that are suppose to be waived. We have had one problem after another with Comcast, and the only reason we don't switch providers is because there aren't any others in the area. If the services we do have weren't a necessity, we'd have said good bye to Comcast long ago.

Worst Customer Service

Never showed up for a service appointment. Claimed they called but my phone says different. Never left a message. Called them and they tried to blame me for their not showing up. Asked to talk to a supervisor and they said they would call back in 10 minutes. Been two hours and NO callback. Won't be surprised if this company is begging for customers soon.
