Great daycare

We loved this daycare center. Our daughter has absolutely blossomed in the last 6 months that she has been here. The staff, especially the teachers are fantastic. We couldn't be happier!

Unhappy with this center

My child can't get comfortable with a single teacher there! All the teachers quit within months of starting. Clearly something isn't right within in the center.

Great Childcare/Preschool

If any of you are looking for child care/preschool and have not checked out The Learning Experience yet I highly recommend it. My son is loving it there! It is clean, the staff is friendly and they provide ALL of the food... I don't have to pack lunch for him and you know that is huge! It is awesome! They also have this really cool indoor play space they use for recess and creative play. I think it is great for the kids especially in the winter. Compared to other day cares I have seen in the area... I have been very impressed. If you haven't check call and ask for a tour!

"FABULOUS"

The Learning Experience isn't just a day care, the follow the state curriculum. My Son can not wait to goto school, he has learned so much and will soon be ready for Kindergarten. We have had a fabulous experience with this school and wouldn't bring our son anywhere else. The teachers are fabulous and everyone is treated like family!! I would highly recommend this school to anyone!

The Learning Experience - Parkville

We ended up moving our 2 year old to The Learning Experience after having a bad experience at another local daycare. TLE has not only exceeded our expectations of a daycare, but has created a loving and educational environment where our son is excited to go to every day. He has enjoyed learning sign language, learning his alphabet, colors and shapes as well as creating friendships with his classmates. We are very pleased with TLE and highly recommend it.

great school

The Learning Experience in West Windsor is a great facility. The school is very organized and clean. The classrooms are outfitted with the latest technologies (interactive board etc). The teachers and staff are extremely caring. You won’t go wrong with enrolling in one of their programs.

Outstanding!!!

My 3 year old has been at TLE for almost 2 years. As this was our first experience with daycare-I didn't know what to expect. The ladies at TLE are all great! Our son gets great care and social interaction. TLE was even willing to work with our son's speech therapist and allowed her to see our son at the school to ease the situation. We are very comfortable here and our son looks forward to coming to "school" everyday!

Nightmare

There's reports of abuse at this facility. Look it up. They are not good with the children, most importantly. Nor are they good at record keeping, grammar, teaching, staffing, etc. The director, Mrs. L. is lazy and awful. She's not trustworthy, in my opinion. The children are not the priority and are not loved at this facility. There is a high turnaround with staff members here.

Very Pleased

Kind, patient and educated staff works hard to ensure that the child and family develop skills to be successful not only in school, but also in life. The only complaint I have would be that the facility could be taken care of a little better. Parent volunteers would be sufficient for dealing with some of the small, cosmetic issues that would make the facility present better. Ms. Pam, Ms. Karen, Ms. Debbie and Ms. Kathleen are all wonderful with the children and put me at ease as a parent.

i love this place

I find the negative comments to be false. I have been in the center and have watched the teachers in action on the monitors and have been nothing but impressed with them. They seem to love what they do. I find this center to be full of happiness and smiles. My cold never wants to leave at pick up time.

The best daycare in the area!

Believe me I did my research and patiently waited for learning experience Center to open up in January. I am very glad I did. My son has been at his daycare since they opened in January. And I have been very happy with the staff and the facility. It is clean well kept the staff are alert and aware. John the owner and Lisa the director are very professional and friendly. My son really likes being there. I would recommend this daycare to anyone who is looking for a place that is constructive and geared towards learning and a structured environment.

A Facade...

I was initially impressed when I went to visit this center. (The Director gave a good sales pitch.) However, after several months of my son attending school here I had to withdraw him from the center. The information and commmunication between the staff was inconsistent and continuously changing. The teachers in the preschool 1 class were cold and not personable at all. I witnessed one of the teachers yelling at kids in the class on more than one occasion. The over all expectations of the students were unrealistic. My son's self esteem was affected because of the way the teachers made him feel when he didn't write as well as other students or get a concept immediately. The teachers were so busy trying to meet the expectations of the corporate office that they didn't engage with the kids or spend the extra time working with them when it was needed. Everytime I walked into the classroom I'd find the teachers working on projects to post outside in the halls (cutting construction paper and etc.) vs. playing or teaching. My overall experience was not a good one. I wouldn't recommend this center.

Valuable Feedback - Response

Typical scripted corporate response to the review of which I expected, and to be honest that’s the problem there most everything is scripted at this facility dealing with the kids as well “just take care of business first” seems to be their motto! End.

Disappointed!

Understaffed and overwhelmed! They convinced me they had the staff and experience but they do not. They transfer kids from room to room, have 5 year olds with babies, and inexperienced teachers without support, help or aides which only leads to stressed out teachers and our children pay for it. I stood there watching the cameras with the Director as one of the teachers was extremely rough with a small child. My heart was pounding and even the director said out loud "Oh oh, easy".... How can a Director ignore this? And when I did mention it to her a few days later and about how my son did not like this teacher because she was mean and used ugly words, she "acted surprised”, and completely ignored the issue of the teacher being so rough with a small child. I was not the only one who saw this, another adult, picking up did too and it was also ignored by the owner sitting right there, he just looked away. Not a great start to a new business! They took our money and never fully followed through with what they said they could offer. I would never recommend this place to anyone. There are too many other daycares, and daycare providers out there that are experienced and honest and want a relationship with the parents of the children whom are in there care!

Valuable Feedback

Thank you so much for your valuable feedback. We look forward to this type of feedback from our centers to make sure that our center is the best it can be. As a parent of three daughters, I can fully understand your concern. I too, am always seeking the best solutions for my children, and choosing the right childcare center is one of the most important decisions a parent needs make.

Teachers should be creative and intelligent, but they also should have education and training. That’s why we have hired staff with education and experiences in the Early Childhood Field, completed background checks and reference checks.

Our teachers plan curriculum that is being implemented daily, with the schedule being followed. Throughout the day, we offer free choice experiences, music and movement, sensory and art, math and science, language, outdoor/gross motor experiences as well as our Learning Experience Academic Program, which consists of sign language, phonics, and the L.E.A.P books. Our teachers are trained to provide positive reinforcement for the children in our care by getting to their level and providing choices, while maintaining the safety of the children and staff.

My review of The Learning Experience Merrimack NH

We just recently had a new Learning Experience center open here in Merrimack NH. We visited the center before it opened for business and found the facility and all we were told to be most promising. So we enrolled our grandchild on the spot. It turned out our grandchild was their first enrolled student and all was great for the first couple of weeks. Now a few months later we're finding that the capabilities of the limited staff are leaving a lot to be desired. Now I’m not saying our grandchild is an angel but nothing you wouldn’t expect a preschool staff to be able to handle, we are getting calls almost every other day at our place of employment to come and pick up our grandchild because they claim they cannot handle the situation. It seems to me that if they had put qualified and experienced personnel on the payroll in the first place these issues might not be happening. So unless you child is perfect and does not require guidance and structure I would not recommend The Learning Experience Merrimack NH.
