Unhelpful staff and unaware of their own products

Stopped in to pick up baskets and staff seemed confused about their own products. Sales lady I was working with cut me off many times during conversation. Not a good experience at all. I just walked out and now I have to pay shipping to get what I want. Love the products, but don't appreciate the clueless yet arrogant staff.

The rug I wanted cost $238 in store and $299 via internet . The nearest Pottery Barn store, located in Memorial Shopping Center (Texas) did not have the rug in stock. They claim that they do not order from other stores and suggested that if I wanted the rug I should order from the internet at $299 + shipping. I then called customer service at 1 888 779 5176 and spoke with a representative. She placed me on hold and I thought that she was formulating a solution. Instead, without further contact from her, I was connected to a store in California which had the rug in stock. The store offered to ship to me at $238 but with an additional $75 shipping fee. This is the apex of poor customer service. I will order a rug elsewhere.
