Most worst tex return experience with H&R summit Dr location and more worst is when I bring letter from Revenue to H&R the man told me I fix already but when I call Revenue they told me no he didn't fix yet I don't know what to do

The accountant did my taxes , he screwed up big time. So I'm pissed at h&r block for that.

After reading all these reviews I can totally see what people are saying about this place. Definitely don't come here to get your taxes done.

I'm not even going to waste my time to write this review because they've wasted enough of it.

Terrible service, bad scheduling, and an all out waste of my time. Do TurboTax it's quicker and it won't cost you $90 and maybe get your paperwork lost somewhere. I mean if they can't even schedule you what are they doing with your Social Security numbers? I wouldn't even give this office one star If I were able to.

I have used this service center for several years and have had an enjoyable experience. The staff was knowledgeable and I rceived my refund promptly.

My wife & I (both seniors) had our tax done with minimal calculations,(not even basic) which was CPP.& OLD AGE income, Six lines of calculations ending up with NIL. & for that we was charged $235.00. Shame on H&R BLOCK.

What a friendly group of people, they always make me feel very comfortable and welcome when I get my taxes done.

I went there without an appointment and someone took care of me within the first 15 mins of waiting. It was done professionally without a doubt. I would go back again next year if I am still in this town.

I have had my taxes prepared at this office of H&R block twice and each time, the people I dealt with from the reception area to the tax preparer were courteous, kind, friendly, professional and I felt very comfortable with everyone I came in contact with at this location. It is out of my way to go there, but for that kind of service, it is well worth it!

I went there back when they were rapid tax and they were awesome. Since they changed over to h&r block they are miserable and way over priced. I walked out of there last year and have continued to refer all my clients to other businesses in kelowna.

Have yet to have a correct assessment from H&R Block Cardston. They just lack competence and professionalism. Save yourself the grief and make an appointment in Lethbridge.

We have been doing our taxes here for years, they are great people to work with. They go out of their way to make it hurt as little as possible.

Employees need a crash course on how to treat potential customers. Will never get my taxes done at this location!

I did not appreciate the long wait we had and made an appt. They also let another client go ahead of us. While waiting we were completly ignored. All walk in's were helped before us. Our tax representative was good but their was no friendliness from customer service, supervisor and staff at the operational desk. I will not be going back to the S. Main Salinas ca.

I was in and out of all the H&R Block locations in Green Bay today which none of them could help me getting my emerald advance card to work as they all sent me to a different shop and told me that they would fix it when it comes to the end of the day 4:30 p.m. I find out the same thing I was told at 7 a.m. Thank you for your great service and I hope no one ever goes to your store again

Just went there this morning and right when i walked in the door i was greeted by a rude receptionist with a nasty attitude to match. she was loud an just disrespectful, if thats how u get greeted befor u even have a chance to conduct business. its not worth it i was a loyal customer but not now and i will spread the word.

I was very impressed with how well my own return was completed since it was very complex. I am a US resident, but over 100K of my income is from retirement, real estate investments, stocks and bonds. This is all overseas income on which I had already paid tax in countries of origin. The woman who prepared my taxes had experience with this type of complex return, knew how to apply credits for taxes already paid to other countries. She also helped me fill out 18 pages of other forms required by the IRS . It was not just your regular tax form but things called FBAR and Form TD F 90-22.1 that you must mail on paper. Want the best, look for people who hold title of Enrolled Agent.

They are thorough and do stand behind their clients, but their prices have skyrocketed in the past few years. I hear so many comments about how the sign says, "$29.99" or whatever, and it ends up costing 10X that.

I efiled with them in april and would not recieve my refund i tried contacting them but wasn't able to get a hold of my preparer spoke to the manager who told me i never paid all this while i had my reciept in hand basically dont go ther they are irresponsible and liars also the manager had no clue as to when his employees were coming in worst experience ever wish they would refund my money

Never answer the phone and don't return calls

My family has used this office for years, namely Nora to do our taxes. She is always on top of any changes for that year to best benefit the customer. Plus she has the best personality ever. It's like getting together with your friends when we go as we chat the whole time. It's nice to walk into the office and being recognized even after all these years. 10 stars for Nora and this office!!!!!!

All other people i talked to claimed their kids why not me , think my tax guy messed up!!!!!!!

I been going to H&R block for a few years to prepare my taxes, this year was ridicules!!! the guuy was to busy talking and made mistakes on my taxes, I even Paid the insurance. But when I went to H&R to tell them , they did nothing! they said only if they made a mistake they would fix it! Of course they made a Mistake! they didnt send all the documents they had to provide to the state. If i was responsible to send documents I wouldnt had Paid $300+ to some idiot to do my taxes! Very disappointed with this company! Will never go back.

This is the worst customer service & completely incapable of filing any tax return. My husband & I had an easy E-return & they screwed it up & it took us over 5 months to get the refund & they assured me I would NOT be charged any fees. However they took their fees in FULL & stopped returning our calls.

friends highly recommended this office to file my 2010 taxes and it turned out that they file my taxes wrong and that cost me to owe 8000.00 dollars to the IRS. I asked them for assistance and all they did was privide me with a simple letter that looked like if i typed it myself that didnt do any good. Til now im still paying the IRS and trying to take legal action against this office.

The Germantown office staff is very professional I am new to the area and was skeptical about letting just anyone prepare our taxes. The owner Ms. Boykin is not only professional but very knowledgeable overall my husband and I were very pleased and have already referred family and friends! Definitely using there services next year!

I made an appointment with H&R block for 2pm today. I arrived 5 minutes early and notified the front desk. I waited an hour and a half before asking the receptionist if there had been some sort of mistake. She was very rude and explained how busy they were and since I was a walk in I have to wait. I told her I had an appointment and she refused to believe me. Finally they grabbed my file clearly marked "appointment 2pm" and took me into the room. The mistake was only acknowledged by the accountant who was great. I work in customer service and was very unimpressed by the way reception handled the situation. A simple apology would have sufficed, I realize it's a busy time of year. I wont be back with my business.

Well, I am sitting at this H&R location as we speak. I am honestly not one to complain but I've been here for an hour and 20 minutes and it's not the amount of time that is frustrating, but watching everyone in the front LACK customer service skills. Not only do they seem annoyed to see everyone's faces, but also tend to make rude comments and just be rude in general. H&R, have you ever considered hiring people who would LIKE to see customers and not miserable people who hate their job?

One tax preparer by the name of Raymond Storch needs to retired because he is lazy and does not want to do the work. I will never do business with him or H&R BLOCK because he does not communicate with you just tell you what he wants and rushes you out.

The tax advisor and assistant assigned to us were not helpful . We had a hard time corresponding with them and our phone calls were not returned. Our concerns were not addressed and good advice was not given. We did not get our money s worth. i would not recommend This branch.

I wanted to take a moment to say what a pleasure it has been to work with Barbara McKnight over the past four years. She is professional and friendly in every way. Tax time is always a bit stressful, but it is a welcome relief knowing that I am in good hands with people that are trying to watch out for me. Thanks Barbara and H&R Block

My tax preparer was terrible,not helpful. I made appointment a week in advance and when I went to the appointment, I had to wait almost 25 minutes in lobby. It was so disturbing to see all the people who walk in and got help immediately. It was a sad place.Next year I think I am going to try another office and see if the staff is a much better. I can cross my fingers.

I went to H&R block to get some help filing for my taxes. I got the help but with major ATTITUDE. I also felt like the man helping me was downgrading and judging me for the questions I had and talked to me as if I was dumb. I did not have a good experience there and will never go back.

if you call to make an appointment make sure you call to CONFIRM it before you go because there's a good chance it got "lost in the system" somewhere

My first and last time specially with Linda Hall 17 years of experience I don't think this experience with taxe. She doesn't stop asking her colleague and after more than one hour I paid $155 for a simple W2 and 1042S. Thank you H&R block you will never see my face again.

Marti handled my taxes for multiple years and did it fast, accurate and made it fun to do. A friend had recommended HR Blakc and I was very pleased with the services. I will return to have next year's taxes done at this location and with Marti. This was one of those good move things. Thanks HR Block!

We are always stumped by the exceptional customer service provided by the center. Ours is a basic tax deal but they always do a second look without any issues or complaints. Sometime they go beyond their way when we have difficulties. Anna in the Gilman center is just great. When we had issues accessing our id and pwd she waited for us to figure it out and was very nice to work with helping us understand what out issue. I will recommend this place and Anna to everyone out there. Thank you Anna.

I had a reservation for the second look that has been all over tv. I received a voicemail and email confirmation of my appointment. When I arrived for my scheduled appt, there was no one at the front desk. After waiting, one of the employees said "I guess those rustling papers means someone is getting restless" and came to check me in. They were double booked, saw my appt in their system, but didn't know what it meant. He said he was booked for all of his part time hours, and the full time employee that came over after said they couldn't help me until after the tax season.

This was hands down the most unprofessional office and worse service I have ever encountered. Don't waste your time!

Usually they are really good but this year I don't know they are slow I am sti waiting for my federal return and I filed on the 1st of Feb. I understand that there was a delay with educational credit but I have friends who filed thiers with educational credit with h&r block after I did mine and they have gotten their returns. I was told by h &r block manager it was being processed by those who filed first well if others I know have gotten thiers and filed after me then that's inaccurate and I want my return with no more beating around the bush this is ridiculous. IRS told me 4-6 weeks I have waited 8 weeks no return I am getting frustrated.

I went here for the free service where they look at your returns you already filed. The woman who took care of me was extremely thorough and found over a thousand dollars I was owed. The staff there are really thoughtful too especially the nice young lady up front. The manager set me at ease and even made me laugh while he answered all my nervous questions while I waited.

Very unprofessional office from the dark ages. They refuse to do 8826 forms on Schedule C returns. They say, "This office doesn't do those". HELLO! an 8826 is a form for a REASON! Go to the IRS yourself and save a ton of money because these old hens are CLUELESS hillbillies! They do not live up to the H&R Block promises at all. NEVER again, such a waste of my time and money!

This H & R Block has the worst customer service ever!!! I do not recommend for anyone to do their taxes here. After they told me they were unable to do my taxes because my husband was not present. I have power of attorney and I have always done our taxes when he's deployed or out of the state training. I left with all my paperwork and literally went across the street and had my taxes prepared at Liberty Tax. They were very nice, willing to help, and most of all FRIENDLY!! They explained everything to me unlike H & R Block. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!!

Just returned from here; an 11 AM appt turned into "whoever's available at 11:25 to take this young lady who's in a hurry". I wasn't in a hurry, I just believe when you make an appt there should be some acknowledgement and professionalism, instead of shoving your client to someone else because there's a lack of organization. Unbelievably disappointed with this office.

I dropped off my taxes on a Monday and they indicated they could have my return done within 5 business days...so being reasonable I put down the date I require my taxes done as 6 business days later. After hearing nothing by business day 8, I call. They seemed surprised that no one had called me to schedule a follow up appointment as my taxes were complete. The individual told me to just come in and sign a few papers and then the process would be complete. I questioned if I needed an appointment and they replied “no” as it would only take a few minutes. I arrived at the store and observed a very unorganized atmosphere where what I was told would take a few minutes…ended up taking 45 minutes…and all they had to do was print my cheque! They keep serving customers ahead of me, after they had started to serve me..never recognizing that it was their fault that my return was delayed and it would have been suitable to offer some customer service in an attempt to maintain a client… Signed very disappointed!

I found out after filing my taxes with h&r block that over 600 customer haven't receive their refund. I also went to the irs and they confirmed what I was told. I will never file with the company again

Horrible customer service. Way too expensive. I was lied to about the direct deposit and which check I would receive first and the time it would take to get the check. NEVER GO HERE!!!

I called three seperate times today between 11am and 1 pm and every time I was chirped around to other ppl and only wAnted to know my amount of refund. My taxes were done last month and I was just curious becuase I have dd. Ok good bye. Poor phone skills and the guy and girl have to be let go they are losing your business.

I RECEIVED DOUBLE THE RETURN FILING ONLINE WITH TURBOTAX!**

When I came here for a return the "tax professional" determined I would only receive a total return of $700 , would owe $250 and then had to pay them like $420 so I basically would walk away with nothing.

Luckily I had started filling out a return on TurboTax before coming to H&R and it said I was getting a minimum of $1400 so I didnt file with H&R --- I received a total of $1550 back and only owed $20 to the state and paid $70 to file in all three states. Whoever this woman was does not know what she was doing and on top of it she was constantly speaking to me in a condescending tone as if I was completely ignorant but apparently if you look at the returns it was her who was the ignorant one.

Not to mention when I complained that I had been informed 1040ez's cost $40 a file so where did $420 come from she told me she could lower it to $375 -- who knew H&R could haggle their prices? Never going back

The customer service is good . However, for even better customer service, maybe the times and dates when each H & R Block location is open should be indicated on the voicemail when people are calling. This will eliminate people feeling like they are waisting their time leaving a message and waiting for someone to get back to them. Not everyone has access to a computer to look it up.

I required help with not one mistake, but 2 major mistakes made by the Broad street office bethlehem. I spoke to one of the manager's Becky at the airport rd allentown office. NO help at all! She initially was great and told me that my initial fee would be returned by the close of the week and that she would call me back after she would attempt to contact the IRS. No return phone call's, no refund by the end of the week. I have been calling for the past 2 days and NO return phone calls. I will never go to H&R block again! I also called corporate and filed a complaint. The other thing this so called manager did was complain to me (the customer) about her new position and how she did not like it stating, "I should have remained a tax preparer at the Broad st. Office". Well she should have b/c she is not doing a good job as a manager..Such a bad experience, never encountered a manager that does not return calls! Well that is my rant, customers beware not a professional bunch to say the least!
