Your answering service (and service in general) is the WORST

Your telephone routing service is TERRIBLE. I called to speak to a LIVE person and of course there was no way to do that without still dealing with your automatic system that essentially kept directing me in other areas since you don't have an option for filing a complaint due to the fact that over 5 weeks ago a temporary change of address was filled out and submitted and to this day (March 1st) not only has the mail not been forwarded but when I went into the main branch to speak to a supervisor....he told me there was no change of address on file which is just another example of inept handling of our mail.

Excellent Service

My experience with the Postal Service has always been positive. If I forget to put a stamp on an envelope, my carrier will come to my door and remind me so that I can either put a stamp on it or hold it until a later date. I just hate it when people lump all government workers in to one pool as being irresponsible. Take a look at Wall Street and you will certainly see who is the most irresponsible -- the private sector.

passport information

I visited the New London, NH post office yesterday and think that the passport services offered are misrepresented. They advised me to fill out the wrong form, recommended that I go to a nearby business for a photo because it was cheaper and they didn't have anyone to take my photo, and then said just send in the paperwork. One cannot just send in the paperwork and must look up the address it needs to be sent to and how much money to send. The post office was completely inept in handling passports.

jackson hieghts p.o

this place is the worst- why is it that people who work for the goverment seem to have contempt for the customers they serve as well as there own insitution. i would hate to be a cliche. and how exhausting must it be to go to work everyday knowing that you will only rise to the lowest common denominator. i could not imagine wanting to be so little.

ABYSMAL SERVICE

Here's a novel idea: teach the people who answer the phone how to LISTEN. That's right, listen AND retain what they have been told. What happens now is they keep asking you the same questions over and over, until they wear you out and you hang up. There is no need to make a customer repeat themselves endlessly because an overpaid phone robot is too lazy to get it right the first, or second, time.
