I mailed a package to my daughter in Nov of 2013. She never received the package and I filed a claimed first one was denied and 2nd one has been pending going on 6 months. I talked to my attorney and he said file through small claims. Getting through to the post office is a joke! Obama needs to fix all these government agencies. NOTHING is done unless it makes the news
I looked up the Pompano Beach US Post Office on Atlantic Blvd. I wanted to know when the mail went out to other locations. There was no answer. Just when they collect. Is that the same thing as mail goes out of the Pompano Beach Post Office to another areas?
I filed an International Claim a month ago and heard back nothing. I call the office and want to find out how the investigation going. After 30 mins of waiting, someone finally picked up the phone. I told her the reason I called, she said "let me transfer you to the department..." And I had to wait again... After 25mins, the call got hanged for no reason!! I have to call and wait all over again... It is wasting my time...Worse service I've seen..

USPS is a joke. My mailman came today in street clothes. She was listening to ipod, parked in wrong spot. Called local office in Houston. They were short, and unapologetic. They said all that mattered was that she came in a truck, and they didn't have a uniform for her. And people want to Federalize healthcare and other things??? Jeez. How the mighty have fallen.
I filed a forwarding request from Chicago to Sanibel, FL in early January. It seemed to work for about 3 weeks and then the forwarding stopped. Nothing was arriving in FL while my mailbox in Chicago was filing up. When asking for help at the Sanibel PO, I was given 2 Chicago phone numbers. One number just rings. The other is answered by voice mail but the mailbox is full! How do I get my mail and avoid past due bills?

I have a del'y for 1/8/2014 tracked as "handed to resident" del'y rec't signed by "ponce" "delivered at 11:15 am" I have security cameras completely covering my property. I played back from 11:00am to 1:00 pm w/ NO ACTIVITY!! Exasperating!
No wonder the post office is losing money!
I've been on hold for 2 hours now waiting for a human to talk to. This is ridiculous! Last time it "only" took about 40-50 minutes to take care of my problem but this time it looks like I have to spend the whole day and I'm not even sure if they ever will answer the phone even if I won't hang up. End of story: take a day off...maybe 2...or 3, prepare some food next to you, be close to the bathroom, don't plan anything for those days and maybe you will be able to take care of your business if they'll click over to you.
should have taken 6-8 days; sent it from Mass. on 10/26 to Spain, now 11/11 & not there yet; last tracking shows it in NY 10/29; international tracking phone # 1-800-222-1811 says 'your pkg is not available through this number'; says to call the sender; no one answers at either of my two local PO; ??????
This has been the worst phone service I have ever been given EVER!!
I think that it's probably pretty rare to love a post office the way I love my PO. There are the rare occasions when you'll catch an employee in a pissy mood, but generally this office has amazingly friendly staff. Not syrupy sweet friendly, as that wouldn't work given the location of the office, but a sarcastic, giving the customers shit kind of friendly. It makes a trip to the post office almost amusing.
I've also found that the office is relatively empty compared to other offices. Again, there are rare occasions where I've had to wait, but generally they are quick and the line moves surprisingly fast for the size of the staff (one or two people).
This is in regards to to putting a change of address in on April 15th to start forwarding to new Address on April 30th not before or hold my mail because the carrier payed no attention to the start date. went to my post office for this area which I called first and a supervisor who was rude would not even check to see if my mail was being held there so went up with ID and was told carrier had on his truck because not there at post office, so called customer service several times, having it investigated and filed complaint.Been waiting for important mail to arrive before moving across states and now having to wait till monday for call concerning this matter. I have lost faith in the Postal Service because this is not my first incident with them. the carrier has no right to hold mail when no hold was put on and need for carriers to pay attention to dates on forwarding mail because I've received none of my mail in a week now and and I'm still living here un till end of April this month. They need to pay better attention because all of us depend on this method of communication.
I do not understand how I see my package was out for delivery at 7:50am online. (did 2day shipping) and I did not receive it today. In the span of 7:50-5:00 pm(9 hour span) they failed to deliver it. If they cant deliver it then why in the world would you scan and say "out for delivery"???? Called the 1800 number and no one is LIVE so they said good bye. Local post office won't pick up the phone. How in the world is this government run? Are there no regulations? Do they not care? If they can't provide the correct service, turn it over to private run companies. This is ridiculous.
I am waiting to find out how they deal with my mail theft issue! Hopefully, it will be satisfactory and this nightmare will be over!!
Should people be handling other peoples mail and going through any other mail box but their own ?Even if asked at one time. Now they have been told not to but do it anyway ?
We left our mail out for the mail man to pick up yesterday and he did not pick our mail up. He did go to other business's in this strip center. Important mail remained outside all night. We have a mail slot for incoming mail and a clip on the front whereas the mail man picks up our mail daily. Please make sure the new postman knows this. debra norris-williams
I have not moved. I am not even thinking of moving! So why did I get a vacant notice in my mailbox and no mail? Of course it's the weekend and even though my post office is still open the phones are turned off and I can't get in touch with anyone! Where is my mail? If it was sent back, I am going to really be angry!!!!!!!!! Someone better call me Monday morning ASAP!
