On hold for ever!

I don't know what is the reason. Maybe they don't have enough number of people to assist customers. They put me on hold and I could never talk to them for three days!

Ms.

Im very unhappy with Macy's credit card system. My email changed and no longer received bills until called three months later to say due to late fees I owed three times the amount I originally owed. I have cancelled my card. I was unable to change my email on line. This company makes it very difficult to stay current with billing.

Macy's is in trouble

Macy's used to be one of my favorite stores, but it has become a store to avoid. Service is nil. There is hardly a person on the floor to assist. The money Macy's spends on promotion and coupons would better be spent on hiring more employees, rather than stuffing pockets with profits that may soon not exist.

No humans and no service

This was my first time ordering online and it was a mess. I have teied to reach a human several times and it is very hard. When I finally did reach one,she spent 45 min. Going through things and making the changes that I should have had to the bill, yet wen I did receive the order again, no e of the sale prices were given me. More taped voices at customer service and no humans again.

Unhappy with Macy's Credit services

Father passed away in June 2013 contacted Macy's to wait the late fee and interest while I paid off the balance. They agreed. Each month since they tack on additional fees and now sent us to collections. No fees waived. Called again tonight but unable to assist. Advise to call the "Death Dept" who is now closed and they can help. Already spoke with this department 3 times and no help. Closed the account, and they have sent us to collections. Manager refused to take my call. Horrible customer service.

No Comprendo English!

It took me 1.5 years 12 emails, and 10 calls to get a duplicate charge removed from my credit card. The biggest problem with Macy's customer service and dispute department is, all of the agents are NOT native English speakers. No telling where this America Co. has outsourced their call center. It's just infuriating to have to deal with people with heavy accents that don't thoroughly understand what you are saying!

False Advertising

They have the wrong price tags on item that they should have took off when re-pricing the items. So if a person pick up the bag with the wrong price on it they should just let them buy it at that price because after all its there mistake not the customers.

Definitely does NOT have easy return policy as advertised

I ordered 2 lamps on line from Macy's website that advertised free delivery over $99 and Easy Return written all over the website. I received 2 large packages in a timely manner. The nightmare started when I needed to return them. I talked with 3 agents that all gave me different answers on what to do. Finally, after weeks of calls and e-mails, I was told that I was totally responsible for the return. It cost me $103 to return the lamp via UPS. I highly suggest that you not order any lamps or other larger objects from Macy's. They have no customer loyalty and will NOT help with the process. Definitely NOT an easy return. Both inconvenient and expensive.

False Advertising/ Not following credit laws

I have had a card for 40 yrs, while Christmas shopping my spouse was offered a credit card by the clerk which would allow him to have 20% off on all Macy's purchases for 48 hours. After making the 2nd purchase same night an additional clerk told him if he paid $25 for Time or Sharing he would get another 10% of on all purchases in the month of December. Neither clerk provided any written information or fine print to read or stated any exclusion or limits on the 20% or 10%. Within 48 hours we tried to buy a bed and a mattress and use our discounts, we were denied these promised discounts with verbal statements of limits on the 20% " not applying to furniture" and denial that it was on everything and that there was a monetary limit. This is blanton false advertising so we complained to the store manager for the evening, who said to pick out our purchases on hold and that we would be contacted by her supervisor the next day to resolve the matter. A person called offering $300 on a purchse o $3600 . this is $600 less then the advertising promised. 30% would be at least $900. We asked to speak to his supervisor , I called and have received no reply in athe last 5 hours. I am giving Macy's until tommarrow to live up to the promises of their staff who failed to give limits or literature to us, This is illegal or credit card business in CA. I know my rights and expect Macy's to face their mistakes and sell us the items with the full 20% discount for opening a new card and 10% additional for sharing to be credited to our card as promised, " not given as a gift card" Total 30% as promised . We spoke with multiple people at Macy's ,and 3 or 3 clerks failed to mention any limits or qualifiers on these discounts. Macy's need to suck it up, They failed to market / advertise honestly, and failed to train your staff and failed to comply with laws for written literature. Lets see if they honor customers rights . Customer service can call Valley Fair , San Jose and straighten out this matter out. Get a VP if needed. This is unacceptable. I need the items delivered as they promoised they could at the price they should honor in time for my company . They delay is very inconvenient. We spent at least 3 hours in the store trying to resolve this and another 1 hour on the phone today, enough is enough

Loyal customer

I have been a loyal customer of Macy's for 20 years. I can no longer patronage your stores if Macy's does not take a stand and remove Donald Trump from any advertisement or endorsement of his products of any kind.
