Open Carry in Texas

Like other merchants, i.e., Chipolte, StarBucks, Target and a host of others ... the open carry is law in most states and to ban it in your stores is of great concern to me. I will not venture into any of these stores again until they over turn their decisions. I am tired of political and social agendas from those who offer services and would like to remain viable through sales of their goods. Just obey the laws in each State and leave the personal opinions of shoppers personal. Those folks who have licenses to carry offer protection not threats. They're making a point about the law and i urge you and others to follow it.

Open carry policy

I was amazed to hear that a respected corporation like Kroger allows individuals to openly carry loaded weapons, even after several incidents of gun violence in your stores. I can't imagine anything more distressing than shopping with my daughter in a cart and coming face to face with a loaded weapon in the produce isle. What parent would put up with that?! I spend over $300 a week on groceries for my family. My parents and grandparents shopped at Kroger. But, I will not step foot nor spend a penny in any Kroger store until you change your policy. If you think it makes more business sense to allow people with loaded weapons to wander your isles than retaining customers like me ask yourself this: what do you think people who own several weapons that cost thousands of dollars are doing with their disposable income? Do you think they are spending it at Kroger? Not unless you start selling bullets!

be patient

last week my daughter had surgery and I went to Kroger to fill her prescriptions. she had one prescription for pain and one for nausea. both prescriptions had refills on them but when I called to get the refill the pharmacist said there were no refills. this upset me because my daughter needs her medicine but I cant get it. I asked the man to please do what you have to do to fix this for my daughter and you know what , he did. an hour later I was on my way to get it and everyone was happy. thank you Kroger pharmacy

Deceiving Advertising

I went to the Kroger Store on Livernois in Rochester Hills on Friday, May 31st to pick up some Blueberries and other items, but as usual, you were out of the Blueberries (what's new), Although I live close to Kroger, I find it more and more necessary to go to either the Hollywood Market or Meijers - at least they carry what they advertise. The Ref. # of my receipt is 032313. I find it very annoying that I make these trips to Kroger for nothing.

Boar's Head Salad

I don't want you to publish this for others to see. I want you to go to Walmart and purchase any one of their salads and compare it to any one of the Boar's Head Salads. Walmart's comes with tasty home made dressing. Boar's Head comes with no dressing, no fork, and isn't cut up well at all.Walmart's comes with a fork. My husband and I wouldn't even finish the one sold by Kroger's.

Outstanding Care

I shop at the Krogers store on Mooresmill Rd. in Huntsville, Al. On Jan.3, 2013, while shopping there, I had a seizure. Not only were the two day shift managers quick to respond, but gave me compassion and care beyond their limits. They obviously were trained in first aid and stroke/heart emergencies. Since I am an R.N., this helped to comfort my anxiety. Hats off to the wonderful job they did that day. I will always be a customer at my Krogers. Susan Culpepper

Need a Store on TX 380

I live on the Denton County TX 380 corrider. There are approximately 40,000 people traveling that road every day. To Denton, McKinney, Pilot Point and beyond. Our closest store is Wal-Mart in Frisco TX. It would certainly be nice to shop someplace else rather than Wal-Mart.

The store in Danville, Ky. is much to crowded. It was absolutely horrible druing the Thanksgiving and Christmas, but it is like this all the time. This community has grown a lot and one Kroger cannot possibly serve the needs of the area. We need another one and soon! Thank you!

FANTASTIC WINE TASTING

We (there are 4 of us) want to share our experience with the fantastic service that we encountered with the wine tasting at the Mason-Montgomery location. Chef Kelly McNeal serves a fantastic appetizer/meal to compliment the wine that is being served. He seems to enjoy cooking and is willing to share his zest for cooking with all of us. He needs to be complimented on his attitude towards us and his friendliness too. Wine steward Ronda Marcum is very good in providing variety of good wines to sample each week. She is very friendly and is always ready to help pick out wine and explain what is good. Kroger needs to recognize these two people (Kelly McNeal & Ronda Marcum) as an asset to their fine store. Please pass these compliments on to whoever is in charge as we will talk to them at wine tasting.

Has Kroger Bit Off.......

More than it is able to chew? The quality of your meats have gone down tremendously and I am strictly appalled! October 5, 2012 I purchased BF CUBE STK. priced; 4.76, October 7, 2012, I took it out of the refrigerator to find this grayish matter on the product! My fridge is in top working order as a matter of fact it is a brand new refrigerator, what the heck happened to the meat? Only YOU know, it obviously was Inferior in the first place, and I might add, for the past couple of months I have encountered smelly old, rankish smelling chicken breast from this same store! When Schnucks was there, all of their products were, including meat were par excellence! Again, my question to you is, What the heck has happened! I also might add, when there is an add in the sale paper, the product usually is NOT there! Disgruntled Customer!
