I am extremely upset with the "manager" (?) at the JC Penney Salon at Northridge Mall, Northridge, California. My daughter and I had appointments this afternoon and, upon our arrival, were told by a blond lady who appeared to be part of the management team at the salon that the hairdresser we've been going to for years and years was "being sent home." I told her that we had TWO appointments and, without regard to my needs or set appointment times, she basically brushed me off and left me feeling like an unimportant customer. I am an extraordinarily busy professional woman who works 10-12 hour days and who generally spends approximately $150-180 every six weeks at this salon. IF this is currently the standard of customer service at JC Penney, we're done. I neither have the time nor energy to be disrespected in this fashion and will certainly be spreading the word about the apparent lack of quality customer service at JCP ~ Northridge, CA! I would appreciate hearing from someone in the JCP Corporate Headquarters.
